LivingGoogle's AI Power Needs Just Revived a Hurricane-Shuttered Nuclear Plant
NextEra's Duane Arnold nuclear plant in Iowa, closed after hurricane damage, is set to restart with a $1.9 billion Department of Energy loan. The electricity will feed Google's AI data centers, with the plant expected online again in 2029.
