LivingSwitch Piracy Seller Skips Every Court Date, Now Owes Nintendo $4.5 Million
Accused of operating several pirated Switch game shops, James Williams (aka Archbox) was sued by Nintendo back in 2024. Because he failed to show up for any court proceedings, the judge issued a default ruling favoring Nintendo—$4.5 million in damages plus a mandatory shutdown of every associated shop.
