What to know | ANREALAGE Brings 100 Paris Looks to Kunitachi for a November 22 Street Show

ANREALAGE is scheduled to hold a Paris series triumphal show on November 22, 2026, at the South Exit Circle and University Street of Tokyo Kunitachi Station, presenting 100 looks that have been released in Paris. The event commemorated the 100th anniversary of the opening of Kunitachi Station, and also allowed Kunihiko Morinaga, a designer from Kunitachi, to put fashion back into the daily roads and streetscapes of his hometown.

100 looks are not the same quantity as the 100th anniversary

The event is based on the 100th anniversary of the opening of the Kunitachi Station, and 100 Paris series looks are selected as display content. This does not mean that the brand has released 100 seasons in Paris, nor does it mean that all 100 sets are the same latest series; when reading event information, you should look at the city commemoration and the selection of works separately.

Kunihiko Morinaga recalled in his public statement that he had presented 25 collections from Japan to Paris, hoping to bring back to his hometown the idea that the everyday and the extraordinary could be interchangeable. Such a return gives the series the opportunity to leave its original show setting and relate to a more familiar urban scale.

Viewing conditions change from runway to street

The south entrance circle of the station and University Street were originally places for passing, waiting, and daily encounters. When clothing appears here, the surrounding buildings, trees, roads and audience positions may all become part of the vision; the same piece of work will have different emphasis at different distances and backgrounds.

The viewer can pay attention to how the silhouette of the clothing juxtaposes with the lines of the street, rather than just waiting for the moment when the front comes into view. For those who care about urban culture, the event also raises a question: How can a public place temporarily accommodate a fashion show, and how can it retain the original sense of local life?

The Paris work returns to Japan, adding an additional layer of local narrative

A triumphal show does not end with the costumes intact and moved to another stage. The designer's relationship with the city, the station's history, and residents' familiarity with the road all influence how the same event is understood. Clothing is both a work and a medium that connects different places and times.

If you want to do your homework in advance, you can first look at the outlines and presentation methods of ANREALAGE’s past series, and then compare the options officially announced this time. The complete sequence, performance details and on-site installations have not yet been announced, so we should not speculate based on the brand's past characteristics.

General viewing quota, apply from October 23 to 30

There is a general viewing quota for the event, which is expected to be accepted through a dedicated form from October 23 to 30. This is the application period, which does not mean that you can enter directly now, nor does it mean that you will be guaranteed a spot by submitting the form; qualifications, result notifications, and day-of admission methods must be confirmed according to the organizer's announcement.

Since the location involves stations and streets, transportation routes and viewing area arrangements should also be checked together with event information. If you plan to make a special trip, confirm your quota and day plans first, and then arrange your itinerary for a walk in Kunitachi. It will be safer than just treating it as a street show and viewing it at any time.

The 100 looks provide an opportunity to review creations, and the centenary of the Kunitachi Station gives this review a specific location. Putting the two together, fashion not only talks about the next season, but also returns to the question of where it started from and who it hopes to meet again.
