BABYMONSTER’s DESERVE arrives October 23: new stills and release times
RUKA, PHARITA and ASA feature in the second set of DESERVE video stills. The digital single is scheduled for October 23 at 1pm KST, noon in Taiwan and Hong Kong.
BABYMONSTER will release digital single DESERVE on October 23, 2026, at 1pm in Korea—noon in Taiwan and Hong Kong. Its second set of music-video stills features RUKA, PHARITA and ASA, adding cinematic fragments to the pre-release imagery.
YG released these images on October 20, following RORA and CHIQUITA’s pictures the previous day and giving the five members distinct visual passages. While waiting for the single, compare characters, lighting and settings, then bring the music and images together when the finished release arrives.
At a glance
Release: October 23, 2026, 1pm Korea; noon Taiwan and Hong Kong.
A new digital single; the second stills feature RUKA, PHARITA and ASA.
These are pre-release images. The final song, video and narrative are the official released versions.
Firelight, a dark road and rain create different moods
RUKA appears between headlights and fire, with posture and expression suggesting unease. PHARITA’s dark-road scene makes distance between the figure and surroundings a focal point. Those are visible cues, rather than confirmation of character names or relationships.
ASA’s rain-soaked car scene adds tension through water, light and movement. Compare warm and cool colours across the three images. Whether they share a timeline, or how their characters meet, remains a question for the complete video.

A slower tempo with emotional force
The production description emphasises a slower tempo, detailed vocals and explosive emotion. Once the song is released, listen for changes in intensity, vocal layering and space in the accompaniment, rather than judging energy only by a dance beat.
One rewarding comparison is how the same image feels once music accompanies it. Note the colours and movements that stand out, then revisit them after release. A dark palette in an individual still may capture only one part of the complete song or video.
Check the time zone before revisiting the preview
Korea’s 1pm corresponds to noon in Taiwan and Hong Kong, 1pm in Japan and 11am in Thailand. Save the time for your location, rather than transferring the number printed on a Korean poster directly into a Taiwan calendar.
The announced format is a digital single; physical editions, signing events or bundled merchandise should not be assumed. After release, revisit the stills alongside the lyrics and video to distinguish narrative connections from promotional atmosphere.
