ITZY’s Chaeryeong announces Lovesick, her November 9 solo debut

ITZY Chaeryeong will officially launch her personal music activities with the mini album "Lovesick" on November 9, 2026. JYP released the trailer, track list and schedule on October 19, allowing this member who has attracted attention for her dance lines and stage performance to begin to put her own music world into the foreground.

The new work has a total of 4 songs. In addition to the title track "Lovesick", there are also "Moonlit Club", "Scent" and "Favorite Reason". Chaeryeong participated in the lyrics of the last song. Rather than rushing to define the entire album with one trailer, this announced information is more suitable for establishing subsequent listening cues.

Key facts

  • Release: November 9 at 18:00 Korean time and 17:00 Taiwan time.
  • Countdown live broadcast: 17:00 Korean time and 16:00 Taiwan time on the same day.
  • There are 4 songs in total, Chaeryeong participated in writing lyrics for Favorite Reason.

The trailer turns ordinary daily life into a bit of strange heartbeat

The trailer is like opening a book, depicting a character who doesn't care much about most things, and gradually becomes interested in a special existence. Birthday cakes, telephones and daily spaces are put into contrasting situations to first establish a slightly whimsical narrative tone for the work.

Such an opening allows the "unusual feeling in love" to appear not only through the song title, but also through the changes in the character's reaction to the outside world. It provides conceptual direction, but it does not mean that the complete MV plot has been fully disclosed; the official arrangement, dance and video should still wait for the release of the work before evaluating it.

Four tracks and a lyric-writing contribution

The tracks include "Lovesick", "Moonlit Club", "Scent" and "Favorite Reason" in order. Chaeryeong participated in the lyrics of the fourth song, providing another observable creative position for her solo debut, and also allowing the audience to know her not only from her dancing role.

After it is officially released, you can listen to it in the order of the album, and then compare the narrative tone of the main song and the last song to see how the work builds the emotions of the characters. At this stage, only the song title is not enough to determine the genre of each song. This article does not directly equate "Club" with dance music, nor does it infer perfume collaboration from "Scent".

Countdown time and collection arrangements for Taiwanese listeners

The countdown live broadcast is announced to be at 17:00 Korean time on November 9, the album will be released at 18:00, and in Taiwan it will be 16:00 and 17:00 respectively. By recording the two times separately, you will not mistake the start of the live broadcast for the complete audio source being online, or miss the introduction before the official release.

If you plan to purchase the physical version, you still need to confirm the version content, bonuses and shipping conditions one by one. This article does not regard every picture in the trailer schedule as a guaranteed bonus card, nor does it verify Taiwan activities; the most certain tracking direction at present is the official follow-up concept photos, MV and complete audio.
