Converse ALL STAR POINTEDTOE: high-tops, low-tops and Japanese prices

The familiar ALL STAR has a sharper front end. The ALL STAR POINTEDTOE launched by Converse Japan replaces the usual round toe with a pointed toe, allowing the canvas shoes to be closer to neater daily shoes while retaining the identification of laces and rubber soles. This shoe model, which was launched on June 19, is still on the public reading list recently.

The series is divided into high-top HI and low-top OX. Each pair is priced at 8,800 yen in Japan. There are 3 colors of high-top and 4 colors of low-top, a total of 7 shoe styles and color combinations; it is not that the same shoe type has 7 colors, nor is it only released for the first time in October. For the autumn and winter wardrobe, it is worth comparing whether it can form a new proportion with trousers and skirts.

Key facts

  • Japan release date: June 19, 2026. It is a shoe that is already on the market.
  • HI high-top: black, white, classic red; OX low-top also has black full monochrome version.
  • Both models are priced at 8,800 yen in Japan.

The pointed tip is not a decoration, but a change in the overall proportions

ALL STAR POINTEDTOE is based on a canvas upper, with glossy surface processing and single-layer tape details. The familiar sole structure can still be seen on the side, but after the toe is extended, the area and visual direction exposed from the trousers will change accordingly.

If you are used to wide trousers, the tip can make the shoes maintain a sense of presence under the wide trousers; when wearing a mid-length skirt, you can use the line of the toe to continue the skirt. These are just observations on matching, and do not mean that it has a height-increasing function or can change body proportions. The actual effect still depends on the length of the garment.

High-cut or low-cut, start with ankles and socks

The high-top HI is available in black, white and classic red, and is suitable for those who want to create a more complete connection between the shoe body and the trouser legs. In addition to these three colors, the low-cut OX also has a full black single-color option, which allows the upper, rubber edges and overall color blocks to be more concentrated. It will create a different sense of presence when paired with plain pants and skirts.

When choosing colors, think about the three most commonly worn bottoms in your wardrobe. Black is easy to connect with dark clothes, white can leave highlights among heavy materials in autumn and winter, and red is closer to the protagonist of the style; there is no need to pursue a certain "must-have" color combination and ignore the combination that you will actually wear on a daily basis.

Pointed toe canvas shoes, what should you pay attention to when trying them on?

Pointed toe shape does not equal forefoot space for everyone. When trying them on, first confirm the widest point, toe movement and heel stability, and then walk with a normal stride; do not omit the comparison of shoe last and sock thickness just because the marked size is the same as usual.

Japan's official online store and designated stores are the announced retail channels, and actual sizes and colors may change over time. This article does not extend the styling features of the shoes to long-distance walking, support or therapeutic effects, nor does it verify the official selling price in Taiwan; if purchased through overseas channels, you should reconfirm the return and exchange conditions.
