Florence Set to Host dunhill's First 2027 Fall/Winter Showcase

As guest designer brand at Pitti Uomo's 111th edition, dunhill will present its Fall/Winter 2027 collection on January 14, 2027, marking another chapter in the century-spanning exchange between British tailoring and Florentine craftsmanship.

Florence Set to Host dunhill's First 2027 Fall/Winter Showcase

British men's luxury house dunhill will appear as a guest designer brand at the 111th edition of Pitti Immagine Uomo (Pitti Uomo), unveiling its Fall/Winter 2027 collection in Florence for the first time on Thursday, January 14, 2027. Creative Director Simon Holloway draws on centuries of cultural exchange between Britain and Florence to open a dialogue on tailoring, craftsmanship, and the contemporary gentleman's wardrobe.

From the British Grand Tour to the Everyday Artistry of Florence

The collection's inspiration traces back to the 18th-century British Grand Tour, when young British artists and aristocrats traveled to Italy in search of knowledge and inspiration. Since the 19th century, generations of British expatriates have settled in Florence, bringing English dress codes and the art of living into a city where artisanal tradition runs deep in everyday life.

The restraint and precision of British style mirror the artistic splendor of Florence; this cross-generational, cross-regional aesthetic exchange forms the starting point for dunhill's Fall/Winter 2027 collection.

"Pitti Uomo holds a truly unique position in menswear, and being invited to present a new collection here is an immense honor for me. Standing in this temple that celebrates the art of menswear, bringing dunhill's aesthetic—both forward-looking and classic—to Florence feels profoundly meaningful to me."

Building the Contemporary Gentleman's Wardrobe with British Tailoring

Founded in London in 1893, dunhill is rooted in British menswear, with a wardrobe spanning refined tailoring, outerwear, leather goods, and elegant leisurewear, striking a balance between formal sharpness and relaxed ease.

The brand collaborates with textile mills in Britain and Italy, veteran artisans, and dedicated bespoke tailoring masters, bridging craftsmanship with contemporary design. Simon Holloway reinterprets classic pieces from the brand's archive through modern silhouettes, refined fabrics, and today's context of wear.

Where Heritage Meets Modernity, at Pitti Uomo

"dunhill distills the essence of British tailoring tradition and reimagines it through a contemporary lens. Having such a captivating brand present at this event once again affirms Pitti Uomo's unshakable, unique position in global menswear, and showcases the fair's ability to embrace both classic heritage and modern vitality with effortless grace."

— Ivano Cauli, CEO of Pitti Immagine

"dunhill brings a distinctive British elegance and sharp style to the world of menswear—deeply rooted in tradition, yet unafraid to break convention. We are truly delighted to welcome dunhill to Florence as a guest designer brand, joining us for this milestone 111th edition of Pitti Uomo."

— Francesca Tacconi, Special Events Manager of Pitti Immagine

From London to Florence, dunhill will continue the stylistic exchange between the two cities with its Fall/Winter 2027 collection, bringing British tailoring and Italian craftsmanship together on the stage of Pitti Uomo.
