No swing tutorials, no gear unboxing. For the launch of his new golf YouTube channel, LeBron James chose to open with a 90-minute reunion match among old friends—and that choice alone tells you what he's going for. This isn't just another golf content account; it's turning the course into a place for catching up with old friends.
The debut video was filmed at Castle Stuart Links, part of the Cabot Highlands Resort in Scotland, a course ranked 55th on Golfweek's Best International Courses list. James brought together his 2016 NBA championship teammates Kevin Love, Tristan Thompson, Richard Jefferson, Channing Frye, and J.R. Smith to celebrate the 10th anniversary of that title-winning Cleveland Cavaliers roster. The six split into two teams for a 3-on-3 match: James, Love, and Jefferson on one side, facing off against Thompson, Frye, and Smith.
