Breeze Group's 25th Anniversary: Chef A-Ming Returns to Lemongrass Kitchen With Limited Royal Thai Tasting Menu

According to Liberty Times, to celebrate its 25th anniversary, Breeze Group's chairman Liao Chen-han invited renowned Thai chef Li Ming-jen, known as A-Ming, to officially return to the group's Thai restaurant Lemongrass Kitchen. The comeback includes an updated regular menu and a daily limited eight-course set called 'The Royal Table,' which blends traditional Thai royal cuisine techniques with a modern fine dining presentation.

Lemongrass Kitchen has previously received Thailand's official 'Thai Select' certification. Chef A-Ming trained under royal chefs in Thailand and became executive chef of a Thai restaurant at the Bangkok Sheraton Hotel at age 25. Over more than two decades in Taiwan, he has led Thai kitchens at several star hotels and trained over a hundred chefs. He emphasized that royal Thai cuisine relies on meticulous preparation and knife work, with some sauces simmered for an entire day to achieve layered flavors.

The eight-course set requires reservations and is priced at NT$3,600 per set. From the announcement date through December 13, 2026, customers spending NT$3,000 or more, or ordering the royal set, can join a spending-threshold raffle.

For diners familiar with Thai food, this relaunch feels less like novelty and more like rediscovery—the same herbs and ingredients, reorganized by sequence and pairing, reveal subtler layers beyond the usual sour-spicy impression. Those interested should confirm reservation details and promotion terms through official channels.
