MUJI Unveils Quilted Textile Series With Washable and Plush Fabrics for Autumn

MUJI’s autumn and winter 2026 collection includes quilted textiles. Liberty Times’ iStyle covered its washed-fabric and plush-cotton options on October 17. By stitching layers of outer fabric and filling together, the range adds texture to blankets, cushions and multipurpose cloths for seasonal changes at home.

The series is split into washable and plush cotton lines. The washable fabrics come in dot and grid patterns in muted tones. The quilted grid washable mattress pad, which also functions as a fitted sheet, is priced at NT$990 to NT$1,290. The quilted dot-pattern washable quilt can be cleaned in a home washing machine and is priced at NT$1,290 to NT$1,590. Both use star-shaped stitching points to secure the fabric and cotton layers, improving durability.

The plush cotton line debuts with a long quilted plush cushion priced at NT$790, made from a soft, fine-textured plush cotton. It can be laid flat on a sofa or rolled up for use as a backrest, and is also machine washable for easy upkeep.

For renters or households with limited space, machine-washable, multi-purpose bedding like this may be easier to maintain than a bulky traditional quilt, especially since it skips the need for professional cleaning during seasonal changes. Actual texture, dimensions and in-store pricing should still be confirmed with MUJI directly.
