NEEDLES x Pendleton launches today: six styles, wool checks and Japanese prices
The first NEEDLES x Pendleton collection arrives October 24. Explore checked shirts, generous trousers and geometric knitwear, with Japanese launch times and prices.
NEEDLES and Pendleton bring American textile patterns into generous Japanese silhouettes in their first collaboration. Six styles launch at NEPENTHES stores and its official online shop on October 24 at 11:30 in Japan, or 10:30 in Taipei.
Rather than repeating one logo, the collection varies pattern, texture and volume. A single shirt, pair of trousers or knit can work with clothes already in rotation; buying the complete look is optional.
Key details
Launch: October 24, 2026, through designated Japanese NEPENTHES channels.
Red-and-black shirts, green checked jackets and yellow-brown trousers give the patterns different amounts of space. A plain layer or simple shoes can separate two checked pieces.
The Pen Jacket includes leather elbow patches. Check shoulder width, sleeves and seated comfort, not just the roomy front view.

Geometric knitwear needs its own comparison
The Mohair and lined Cowichan sweaters interpret geometric motifs differently. Compare neckline, edges and construction rather than assuming two knits have the same weight.
Black, grey or denim can anchor the pattern. Fibre content and care differ by item; the collection is not one uniform wool composition.

Plan around Japanese availability
The shawl-collar coat makes a larger visual statement. Try it with the layers you actually wear and consider sitting and moving in its length.
Japanese launch details do not establish stock elsewhere. Record the style, size and budget, then confirm store availability and purchase terms before a trip.
