Radiohead Confirms 21 Australia and Japan Shows in 2027 — Start Planning That Trip Now

With the first show still about eight months away, Radiohead has already locked in the full run of 2027 dates. This isn't the kind of pop-up show you can decide to catch the day after hearing the news—it's a 21-date lineup that'll have you opening your work calendar immediately to start calculating PTO, flights, and hotel bookings.
The tour kicks off in Australia: May 3, 4, 6, and 7 at RAC Arena in Perth, followed by Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne on May 13, 14, 16, 17, 19, and 20. Sydney's Afterpay Arena gets six dates—May 25, 26, 28, 29, 31, and June 1. The Japan leg is concentrated at Saitama's GMO Arena, running June 8, 9, 11, 12, and 13.
Ticket sales won't be a free-for-all grab. Fans must first complete registration on Radiohead's official website to gain purchase eligibility, with a cap of 4 tickets per registration. The band hopes this will cut down on bots and scalpers competing for tickets. For anyone planning to cross borders for multiple shows, the first deadline isn't booking a flight—it's making sure you've registered.
This run continues the momentum from the band's return to the stage last year. Reuniting for the first time since 2018, Radiohead played 20 arena shows across five cities in the UK and Europe, including a four-night stand at London's O2 Arena that broke the venue's attendance record previously held by Metallica. Some shows also raised funds for the UK's LIVE Trust and Doctors Without Borders.
Guitarist Ed O'Brien revealed back in March that the band's plan was to tour a different continent each year, keeping it to around 20 shows. He admitted that the emotional and physical toll of these songs is significant, leaving him feeling drained after performances. The confirmed Australia/Japan run comes in at 21 shows—still reflecting a deliberate effort to cap the number rather than pile on endless dates.
As for new music, O'Brien made clear earlier this year that the band hasn't even discussed their next Radiohead record. That makes these 21 shows the only confirmed joint project on the table right now—no new-song rumors padding out the tour, just five members and a body of work that still holds up after all these years, plus a fanbase willing to book time off in advance to relive that piece of their youth.
Currently, all officially announced Japan dates are in Saitama. While earlier hints had sparked speculation about a possible Tokyo add-on, this hasn't been confirmed. Full ticketing details and on-sale times will be announced via Radiohead's official website.
