Remi Wolf Returns With Raw New Track About Messy Relationships

"I wrote 'Twiggy' about people I've dated with no ass and no emotional capabilities. And I kinda like that about myself. Or maybe this song is about the chaos of addiction? IDK, you decide :)" — that's the confession Remi Wolf dropped along with her new track, brutally honest to the point of laying it all bare, while leaving herself an exit with a winking emoji.

This marks her first new song in two years, following 2024's album Big Ideas. Last weekend, she made a surprise appearance during Hayley Williams' closing set at Newport Folk Festival, debuting "Twiggy" live for the first time before the studio version dropped shortly after.

The arrangement leans into warm fingerpicked guitar, creating a stark contrast against lyrics packed with fragmented yet sharp imagery: a Lexus backing up, "a wrinkle where your eyes should close." The details feel intimate, almost too specific — like she's describing someone who actually existed, rather than speaking abstractly about a relationship.

The single also comes with a vinyl-exclusive B-side, "Tiny Little Twigs (Demo)," available only on the physical release and absent from digital platforms.

Remi Wolf hasn't slowed down over the past two years — she's collaborated with both Thundercat and Zedd, and hit numerous festival stages. This past May, she made a cameo as herself in the new season premiere of Amazon Prime's Off Campus, performing "Soup," "Alone in Miami," and "Toro" from Big Ideas on the show.
