What to know | Setinn × GROOVY COURT READY: four limited items and a Taipei pop-up from October 30

Japanese clothing brand Setinn and Taipei shopping store GROOVY launch the COURT READY project, which will be held at GROOVY II for three days from October 30 to November 1, 2026. The collaboration brings four limited-edition items including jackets, shorts, short-sleeved T-shirts and hats, extending tennis culture from sports scenes to urban wear.

Four single products, understand the cooperation from the proportion of the whole set

This time there is not just one commemorative top, but the upper body, lower body and accessories are planned together. Jackets and shorts can be seen as a set at first, while short-sleeves and hats can be separated and worn. Repeating the same color scheme in different parts can give the look a sense of continuity.

Limited colors are clues to identify collaborations. When choosing, you can still compare the items you wear most often. If you usually use plain trousers, add short-sleeves or hats, or present them as a complete set, they will have different strengths, so you don’t have to wear the entire series at once.

Taking tennis references into everyday city clothing

COURT READY uses the stadium as a viewing entrance, but urban clothing also needs to respond to walking, riding, and indoor-outdoor transitions. What is worth watching is how the length of the jacket, the proportion of the shorts, and the exposed area of the top create different silhouettes when stationary and moving.

Sports reference does not mean that every piece is competition equipment. If you want to actually play ball, you still need to check the material, activity space and usage requirements; if it is for daily wear, you can first compare it with the denim, socks and commonly worn shoes in your wardrobe.

Japanese team and interactive installation give collaboration a spatial dimension

The event arranged for the Setinn Japanese design team to be present and set up a large interactive installation to present the Setinn Fall/Winter 2026 series. Limited collaborations and seasonal works are placed in the same space, allowing viewers to compare the relationship between the brand's original direction and Taipei planning.

When looking at clothing photos, it is easy to only pay attention to the color. In the physical space, the length, arrangement and surrounding scale of the clothing will also affect the judgment. This time, you can enter from four limited items, and then look back at the general series to understand which clues continue to appear and which ones have changed for collaboration.

Launch-party hours and the three-day event are different

The location of the three-day event is GROOVY II, 1st Floor, No. 23, Lane 161, Section 1, Dunhua South Road, Daan District, Taipei City. The party on the first day of October 30th is from 15:00 to 20:00, with last admission at 19:30; this is the party period and cannot be directly regarded as the full business hours for the next two days.

If you plan to go there on the weekend, you can check the store's schedule for the day before departure and confirm the styles and sizes you want to see. The pop-up date represents the event period, which does not mean that you can meet the design team at every time, nor does it guarantee that all limited products will continue to be in stock.

Put limited projects back into your daily life

The highlight of this collaboration is how a set of stadium references are transformed into clothing that can be viewed and matched in Taipei stores. Look at the proportions of the items first, then look at the limited colors, and finally decide which one you need. It will be easier to make a choice than relying solely on flash topics.

For those who are originally concerned about the interface between sports and fashion, COURT READY provides a specific case: the venue, clothing and people can jointly establish a style, but what really remains are the items that are willing to be worn repeatedly after the event.
