According to Liberty Times' iStyle channel, Swiss watchmaker TISSOT has expanded its PRX collection with a new quartz chronograph, carrying forward the 1970s barrel-shaped case and clean geometric lines. The case is crafted from 41mm 316L stainless steel with a thickness of 11.65mm, finished with alternating vertical brushing and polishing. The flat chronograph pushers are seamlessly integrated into the right side of the case, preserving the collection's signature streamlined look.
The new dial features a vertical brushed texture with three sub-dials: a 30-minute counter at 10 o'clock, a precision counter measuring to 0.1 seconds at 2 o'clock, and a running seconds sub-dial at 6 o'clock, with the date window positioned at 4 o'clock. The movement includes ADD (accumulated timing) and SPLIT functions, along with an EOL (end-of-life battery indicator) feature. The hour markers and hands are coated with Super-LumiNova luminescent material, paired with anti-glare sapphire crystal glass. The three new colorways include a silver-white dial with rose-gold markers, a black dial with nickel-plated markers, and a blue dial, all fitted with an integrated quick-release stainless steel bracelet. The suggested retail price is NT$15,500 per watch.
For daily styling, the quick-release system makes compatible straps easier to swap; it does not mean that changing the length of a metal bracelet requires no tools. Quartz avoids daily manual winding but still needs battery replacement and servicing as recommended by the brand. Trying on the 41 mm case is the best way to judge its size and weight on your wrist.
