AEON’s ¥1,000 Fleece: The ¥1,100 Tax-Inclusive Price, Two Styles and Regional Release Dates
TOPVALU’s microfleece comes in adult full-zip and cardigan styles. The base price is ¥1,000, or ¥1,100 including tax. Regional launches differ, with Okinawa planned for November 20.
The first question about AEON’s ¥1,000 fleece is whether that price includes tax. TOPVALU’s microfleece full-zip jacket and cardigan were officially announced at a ¥1,000 base price and ¥1,100 including tax. Keep the two separate when comparing with other tax-inclusive prices. The regional launch began in October, rather than starting simultaneously across Japan today.
Women’s and men’s ranges offer full-zip jackets and cardigans, while children’s options are full-zip. Before buying several because of the price, decide whether it is an indoor outer layer, a commuting midlayer or a spare for travel. Closure and the thickness of clothing underneath change how a fleece is used. Check the individual label for measurements and care.
Choose a closure to suit everyday dressing
The full-zip jacket is designed with room for layering and an easy-to-grasp zip pull. The cardigan offers another front proportion for combining with a shirt or T-shirt. These are not competing warmth ratings. Try the preferred style over usual clothing and check for pulling around the shoulders and arms during movement.

Both styles use a smoother pocket lining intended to make reaching in and out easier. The microfleece uses fine yarn with processing to add volume. These are announced design and manufacturing details, not ÉTAT HER tests of warmth, abrasion or washing. The term fleece does not establish that it replaces a raincoat, ski jacket or every layer needed in low temperatures.
Adult M–XL and children’s 130–160cm
Both adult styles were announced in women’s and men’s M, L and XL. Children’s full-zip sizes are 130, 140, 150 and 160cm. Letters and height labels are starting points; also compare chest, length and shoulder or sleeve measurements. Allow room for planned layers, without overlooking sleeves or hems that interfere with movement simply to allow for future growth.

The cardigan has six announced colours each in the women’s and men’s ranges; children’s full-zip options have eight each. A colour count does not guarantee every size in every shop. Start with trousers, skirts and shoes already worn regularly, then ask about a matching size. That is more likely to put a basic item into everyday use than choosing an unsuitable colour from a promotion image.
Okinawa has a different date, and availability varies
The announced range covers around 600 AEON, AEON STYLE and other stores in Japan plus the online shop, in limited quantities with local assortment differences. Kanto, Hokuriku-Shinetsu, Tokai, Kinki, Chugoku-Shikoku and Kyushu began from October 1; Hokkaido and Tohoku from October 3. Okinawa is planned from November 20. A trip there now should not assume the mainland launch dates apply.
AEON describes consolidating group orders, batch production during quieter factory periods and partial cutting automation to manage costs. This explains the price approach, not identical stock or service life for every item. Before buying, confirm the ¥1,100 tax-inclusive price, style, size and store, then follow the care label. Affordability and suitability remain separate questions.
