For years, the front of a football jersey has been prime real estate for gambling companies, alcohol brands, and fast food chains — that patch of fabric has practically become a visual showcase for those industries. So when AG1 steps into that spot, it's a statement in itself.

Wellness brand AG1 has announced its first-ever move into football, becoming Swansea City AFC's main shirt sponsor starting from the 2026/27 season. The brand's logo will appear on the team's jerseys, stadium ads, and digital content. This deal lands right as English football is gradually pulling gambling brands off jerseys, with sponsorship conversations at the Championship level heating up alongside it. AG1's timing here is spot on.

Snoop Dogg, co-owner of Swansea City AFC, personally spoke about the partnership, describing it as a way to bring people together "through football, health, and that shared mindset of wanting to be the best version of yourself." It's not the most specific statement, but it does explain why the club is comfortable putting a wellness brand front and center.
