A purple gradient bleeds across the upper, fading into a burnished bronze metallic sheen at the heel before settling into a patch of fuzzy brown suede. This isn't some streetwear brand's fever dream—it's Brooks' 2009 veteran, the Adrenaline GTS 10, getting its first-ever collab treatment.
Brooks, the Seattle-born running gear company, has spent the past few years pushing further into lifestyle territory—a few of its regular colorways even landed on Jay-Z's feet, essentially earning a co-sign from the rap world. This time, the brand teamed up with German boutique Afew Store to create its first-ever limited Adrenaline GTS 10 collab, dubbed "Today Was a Good Day," or TWAGD for short.
The shoe runs a Fig, Bridal Rose, and Fiery Coral colorway, with a mesh upper draped in a purple gradient layered under metallic-finish synthetic material. The heel transitions from a copper sheen into a patch of fuzzy brown suede, with pink and red accents scattered throughout the details, while a semi-translucent heel panel catches a subtle glow under certain light. According to Afew, the shoe is meant to capture that feeling when "certain days just stick with you"—warm, nostalgic, with a bit of personality.
