Tearing apart a punk zine and pasting it back together onto a jacket sounds like some kind of sacrilege, but this time UNDER R chose to bring out Dead Kennedys' archive completely raw — no redesign, just re-layout.

UNDER R is a Japanese shop, and this time their collaborator is Dead Kennedys, the hardcore punk band formed in San Francisco in the 1970s. The core of the collection is decades' worth of the band's visual assets: album covers, rare gig flyers, collage-style zine imagery — all transferred onto tees, long sleeves, jackets, caps, and socks. The pieces themselves have no fancy cuts; the entire focus is on the imagery. It's a collaboration logic where archive comes before design.
