Ferragamo’s Los Angeles dinner connects Gemma Chan and its Hollywood beginnings
A Beverly Hills Hotel gathering celebrated the Rodeo Drive flagship reopening, linking celebrity clothing, a family film and the city’s place in Ferragamo history.
Ferragamo marked the reopening of its Rodeo Drive flagship with a dinner at the Beverly Hills Hotel’s Polo Lounge. Gemma Chan, Gabrielle Union, Andrew Garfield and Tinashe were among guests bringing different film, music and clothing perspectives to the occasion.
Chairman Leonardo Ferragamo and creative director Maximilian Davis welcomed the gathering, which also screened a family-related short film. This is a retrospective of a private event, not a public ticket invitation. Clothing, setting and history offer three separate ways to view it.

Hollywood before the Italian house of today
Salvatore Ferragamo built a reputation through shoe work in Hollywood before returning to Italy to develop his label. In the context of a Los Angeles reopening, that movement gives the city a role beyond merely hosting a celebrity dinner.
The film’s title, One Step at a Time, connects naturally to shoes and a family timescale. Keep the founder’s experience, the present design team and a modern shop distinct: heritage does not mean every new item directly copies an early silhouette.

Different silhouettes at one table
Gabrielle Union wore an olive leather dress from spring 2027, giving material and colour the lead. Chan and other guests brought different rhythms to the same house. A brand can hold several proportions rather than requiring every wearer to arrive at one shared answer.
To borrow an eveningwear idea, choose one leading surface—leather’s reflection, a fabric’s drape or a clear shoulder—then decide whether accessories continue it or recede. Event lighting and posing differ from the temperature, walking distance and sitting needs of your own occasion.

The reopened shop and the dinner are different places
The Rodeo Drive flagship is the retail location; the Polo Lounge hosted the gathering. If planning a visit, check the store’s own address and hours instead of turning hotel dinner details into shopping directions.
The occasion shows how clothing, film and city memory can connect. Start with a look, then explore the shoe-making background. Avoid inventing product numbers, prices or territories that have not been confirmed: an event photograph does not establish that a piece is already on sale everywhere.
