KFC Taiwan puts Halloween black and red colors into its signature egg tarts. The "Dark Kiss Egg Tart" will be launched on October 20, 2026. It contrasts with the all-black tart shell, black powder on the surface and red mulberry filling. It will be sold until November 2, a total of 14 days, adding a festive touch to a familiar dessert.
The new product is priced at NT$57 per piece, and there are also 6-pack boxes and original flavor mix-and-match options. This time, the activity has also been extended to the theme decoration of Neihu Ruiguang store. However, product sales, designated store landscaping and other store mirror designs are different scopes of arrangements and cannot be regarded as the same for every store.

The new product changes the familiar golden appearance to black, and the interior is still based on egg custard filling, with red mulberry filling added to create a clear contrast in the cross-section. The brand also adds interest by adding that it may temporarily leave a black lip mark after consumption.
