Kings Of Leon Set London Comeback at The O2 in 2027 for Venue's 20th Birthday

Three years after their last London show, Kings Of Leon are coming back to the city with a gig at The O2 Arena. The band has announced they'll take the stage at London's O2 on July 2, 2027 — their first London appearance since headlining BST Hyde Park for a record fifth time back in 2024.

This isn't a standalone show — it's part of a lineup The O2 has put together to celebrate its 20th anniversary. Since opening in June 2007, the venue has hosted more than 3,000 shows and welcomed over 100 million attendees. Also joining the celebratory lineup are David Guetta, Jorja Smith, Maisie Peters and Sombr.

The band broke the news on Instagram on October 2nd, writing "London. The O2 at twenty. July 2, 2027." Ticket sales will roll out in two phases: fans who pre-order the new album *O My Beloved* through the band's official UK store before 2:59pm on October 6th will get early access to tickets, with the presale kicking off at 9:30am on October 7th. General sale opens at 9:30am BST on October 9th.

The show announcement comes right on the heels of their new album plans. Kings Of Leon's tenth studio album, *O My Beloved*, is set for release via Love Tap Records on November 6th, following up 2024's *Can We Please Have Fun*. Frontman Caleb Followill said when the album was announced: "We've surpassed everything we ever thought we could do, and built something really special." He added that the album's starting point was looking back at the family, childhood, and shared experiences the band has lived through over more than two decades: "I thought, how beautiful would it be to make an album that looks back at everything we've done, and shows gratitude for how we got here."

The band recently dropped their second single, "Cold Blue Dawn," with a lyric video made in collaboration with The Weather Channel using footage from NASA's Landsat satellite program. That followed the lead single "My Whole World." Last month, Kings Of Leon also played an intimate 575-capacity show in Nashville to kick off the *O My Beloved* era, debuting "My Whole World" live for the first time and bringing out Zach Bryan to perform "Bowery" together.

*Can We Please Have Fun* earned a three-star review from NME, which called the album "some of the band's most promising, freest material in over a decade," while noting that some sections were "surprisingly restrained." Caleb told NME at the time it was "the most fun I've had making a record," while drummer Nathan Followill said, "We kind of let ourselves be vulnerable musically."
