New Album 'Old Flames' Marks Farewell to 17-Year Romance as La Roux Unveils 2027 Tour Plans
Spanning North America, Europe, and the UK, Elly Jackson's 2027 tour will promote her new album 'Old Flames,' wrapping up with a final show at Electric Brixton in London.
A 17-year relationship came to an end, and Elly Jackson turned the whole process into an album — then decided to take it on tour across half the globe. La Roux has announced a 2027 tour spanning North America, Europe, and the UK, timed to coincide with the release of her fourth studio album, "Old Flames," which drops on November 6.
The tour kicks off on January 31 at Danforth Music Hall in Toronto, Canada, before moving on to Boston, Washington D.C., Brooklyn, Chicago, Salt Lake City, Seattle, Portland, Los Angeles, and San Francisco in the US. After a stop at Pabellón Oeste in Mexico City on February 25, the tour heads to Europe in March, hitting Berlin, Cologne, Amsterdam, and Paris. It then wraps up back in the UK with dates in Glasgow, Manchester, and Bristol, closing out on March 24 at Electric Brixton in London — her home turf.
Jackson wrote on social media: "I can't wait to get back on stage and bring the world of Old Flames to everyone." It's not an elaborate statement, but the sheer density of the tour route says plenty on its own: nearly twenty cities across three continents in just two months is no small physical undertaking for an artist who handles her own creative direction independently.
"Old Flames" follows 2020's "Supervision" and reportedly confronts the collapse of a 17-year relationship head-on, tackling forbidden love, the loneliness that comes with addiction, and the struggle of navigating sexuality and identity under public scrutiny. In the album's lyrics, Jackson references cultural touchpoints like David Lynch and "Donnie Darko." Speaking previously about her creative intentions, she said: "This album tells the truth about how things actually are — who I am, how I behave. It's a process of acknowledging where I've gone wrong, and by telling these stories, coming to terms with where I stand now." She also mentioned that "Old Flames" is essentially about untangling why she's acted the way she has in the past, and saying goodbye to those patterns — in relationships, in life, and even in music itself.
Three singles from the album have been released so far: "Lose Myself," "Babyline," and "Cabin Fever." This tour announcement also comes right on the heels of La Roux serving as support for Hilary Duff's show at London's O2. Tickets for UK and European dates go on sale this Friday (October 2) at 10am local time, while North American dates go on sale a day earlier, Wednesday, at the same time. Fans who pre-order "Old Flames" will get early access to presale tickets for the UK and European shows.
