Turn the Button, Slam Dunk! LEGO x Nike Breaks Down the AF1 into a Space Court Build

LEGO and Nike team up again, this time turning the Air Force 1 into a moving brick display: a mini astronaut figure cranks a button to trigger a 360-degree slam dunk. 1,093 pieces, NT$3,699, dropping September 1, 2026.

Most collab brick sets stop at "looking the part." This LEGO x Nike Air Force 1 set adds a button. Turn it, and the mini astronaut figure on the base sends the whole shoe through a 360-degree slam dunk motion—that's the real point of this set, meant to be played with by hand, not just displayed for photos on a shelf.

This isn't the first LEGO and Nike collaboration—past efforts have covered the Dunk, Air Max 95, and Slam Dunk. This time they picked the Air Force 1, arguably the most basic and iconic sneaker archetype, yet the execution is the least realistic of the bunch: the whole shoe floats above the base like a rocket taking off, built from 1,093 pieces forming the pristine white shoe body, with the orange Swoosh made as a removable piece placed exactly where Nike's logo would sit. The base itself is molded from the actual tread pattern of Nike's own sole, folding the language of street sneakers into a scene that feels more like a spacecraft.

The LEGO astronaut minifigure with a swappable head is the operational core of the whole build. Standing on the support arm, the moment you turn the button, the shoe swings into a slam dunk pose in sync—less a collectible, more like a kinetic tabletop art piece. That's what sets this collab apart most from past brick sets that simply replicated shoe designs.

The new LEGO x Nike Air Force 1 collab set is set to launch at 11 AM on September 1, 2026, priced at NT$3,699, and will be available on LEGO's official website.
