MAAP x Public Possession Volume II: A T-Shirt with a Typo Hides the Inside Joke Between Two Brands

Australian cycling brand MAAP and Munich-based music apparel label Public Possession drop their second collaborative season, Volume II, expanding from race-ready performance gear into cycling accessories and a SoundCloud mixtape.

MAAP x Public Possession Volume II: A T-Shirt with a Typo Hides the Inside Joke Between Two Brands

A T-shirt reads "I Want To To Ride My Bicycle" — that extra "To" isn't a printing error, it's a deliberate visual gag left in by MAAP and Public Possession. The phrase also happens to be the most honest footnote for this collab: cycling performance and music subculture were always meant to have a slightly irreverent overlap.

MAAP and Public Possession have released Volume II, their second collaborative collection, linking the Australian cycling brand's race-bred DNA with the attitude of the Munich music and apparel label. The lineup spans both on-bike and off-bike scenarios: on the performance side there's the ProAir 3.0 and Emerge jerseys, Team Bib Evo Cargo shorts, and a long-sleeve mesh top; for everyday wear, the collection includes long and short-sleeve graphic tees, a sweatshirt, a hoodie, and rain pants.

The accessories line rounds out the finer details of cycling life — a cycling cap, a musette, socks, a water bottle, and an oversized tote bag, extending the collection from the racetrack into commuting and travel.

To echo the shared musical passion between the two brands, they've also dropped a joint mixtape on SoundCloud as the sonic footnote to this release — effectively tying "riding" and "listening" back together.

MAAP x Public Possession Volume II officially launches on August 18, 2026, available through the MAAP and Public Possession websites, the Public Possession store in Munich, and MAAP LaB locations worldwide. Pricing has not been disclosed.
