Man/Woman/Chainsaw's London Show Sells Out in a Flash, Adds O2 Forum Date for Biggest Headline Show of Their Career

South London six-piece Man/Woman/Chainsaw's tour, originally set to wrap up at Electric Ballroom on October 7th, sold out almost instantly. The band has now announced an additional London show at the O2 Forum in May 2027, marking the biggest gig of their career so far.

Man/Woman/Chainsaw's London Show Sells Out in a Flash, Adds O2 Forum Date for Biggest Headline Show of Their Career

With Electric Ballroom completely sold out, the answer wasn't to cancel or squeeze in another date there — it was to jump straight to a venue that can hold way more people. Man/Woman/Chainsaw posted on Instagram today (August 18th): "Electric Ballroom is now officially sold out, and we're thrilled to announce we'll be headlining Kentish Town Forum in London on May 11th, 2027." This newly added O2 Forum show marks the biggest headline gig the South London six-piece has ever played.

The tour was originally planned as a fairly low-key run: kicking off September 19th at Ulster Sports Club in Belfast, then moving through Dublin, Manchester, Leeds, and Newcastle, before continuing in October through Portsmouth, Bristol, Cardiff, Nottingham, and Birmingham, with the tour originally set to close out at Electric Ballroom in London on October 7th. It was only after that closing show sold out instantly that the May 2027 date came to be.

Full tour dates are as follows — September 19th, 2026 at Ulster Sports Club, Belfast; 20th at Whelans, Dublin; 22nd at Gorilla, Manchester; 23rd at Brudenell Social Club, Leeds; 24th at Grove, Newcastle; 26th at King Tuts, Glasgow; 29th at Boileroom, Guildford; 30th at Concorde 2, Brighton; October 1st at Wedgewood Rooms, Portsmouth; 2nd at Thekla, Bristol; 3rd at Globe, Cardiff; 5th at Rescue Rooms, Nottingham; 6th at Hare And Hounds, Birmingham; 7th at Electric Ballroom, London; and May 11th, 2027 at O2 Forum, London.

Tickets for the 2026 tour dates are already on sale. For the 2027 O2 Forum show, fans signed up to the band's mailing list get early access starting at 10am UK time (10pm Taiwan time) on August 19th, with general sale opening at 10am UK time on August 21st.

This tour is in support of the band's debut album *Cannonball*, released earlier this month. NME gave the record a four-star review, calling it "a debut that hits like a cannonball straight through the hull" — noting how it builds on the raw ambition of their *Eazy Peasy* EP and pushes into experimental territory without ever tipping into self-indulgence, resulting in something "joyously danceable while being emotionally direct enough to bring you to tears." NME also predicted the album is shaping up to be a strong contender for the 2027 Mercury Prize shortlist, calling it "one of the most fully realized debut albums of the year."
