The 14th Negroni Week took place September 21–27, 2026, with 119 participating bars in Taiwan. An opening event at UNCOMMON TAIPEI and a closing event at Roma Roma in Kaohsiung linked the north and south through Negroni recipes and variations. This retrospective explains the cocktail and how participating venues support the global charity partner, Slow Food; the events and promotional redemptions have ended.
Key Facts
The 2026 Negroni Week period is from September 21st to 27th, and the event has ended.
The classic Negroni consists of gin, Campari and sweet red vermouth.
Global events support Slow Food; it cannot be directly presumed that a fixed percentage of any glass of wine will be donated.
Gin, Campari and Sweet Vermouth
Negroni uses gin, Campari and sweet red vermouth to establish the flavor. The classic method uses equal proportions, and then uses orange as a common garnish. Gin brings botanical aroma, Campari provides bitterness and red color, and vermouth adds sweetness and herbal levels; different brands and adjustments will change the overall balance.
When identifying a Negroni, you can first understand that it is not a juice drink. Even if the bartender adds coffee, tea or other creative elements, whether the triangular structure is retained is still a clue to reading the variations. This article introduces the background of bartending culture and activities, and does not provide judgment on personal drinking amounts or alcohol tolerance.

From Taipei to Kaohsiung
The opening event on September 21 took place at UNCOMMON TAIPEI. Roma Roma Pizzeria & Bar in Kaohsiung hosted the closing event on September 27, pairing pizza with cocktails. The venues offered two different settings for the same Italian classic.
A total of 119 bars in Taiwan responded to this event, and there were arrangements for passport collection points and brand merchandise during the event. These belong to the 2026 activities that have ended. This article does not regard the old points collection method as a discount that is still valid now, nor does it mean that each store still retains the same limited cocktail menu.

How the Charity Mechanism Works
Negroni Week is jointly promoted by Imbibe and Campari, and the global charity partner is Slow Food. According to the official participation method, bars can participate by signing up and donating, and can also arrange additional fundraising; this is different from the system where all consumption is automatically donated according to a fixed proportion.
If you are concerned about a certain store's charity approach, you can directly ask the store whether it has additional donations per cup, fundraising items, or a fixed amount. Understanding registration donations separately from sales donations helps to clearly understand where support occurs and avoids treating all regular drinks purchases as event fundraising.

What Remains After the Event
After the event, Negroni is still a classic that many bars can ask about, but whether it is served and which gin or vermouth is used are all arranged by the store. If you want to understand the flavor, you can first describe your preference for bitterness and sweetness to the bartender, and then learn the recipe. You don’t have to drink continuously to complete the activity list.
Next year’s date, participation list and discounts must wait for official announcement, and this year’s information cannot be used. When planning a night party, please consider transportation home and travel arrangements with your companions; the joyful scenes in event photos do not mean that drinking is risk-free.
