This shoe was never trying to fit in. The Nike First Sight Shadow is a slip-on silhouette molded with rows of raised, bubble-like protrusions across the upper—an unmistakable nod to the Foamposite. But rather than a straight retro homage, it feels more like a distillation of that original "alien" energy, boiled down and reworked from scratch.
This new "Metallic Silver" colorway coats the entire upper—bubbles and all—in a chrome-like silver finish. The basketball-shoe staple of a black outsole gets swapped out here for icy blue, setting up a cool-toned contrast against the silver upper. It's the second colorway to drop for the First Sight Shadow, following an all-black release earlier this month. Even in blacked-out form, that exaggerated silhouette was impossible to hide—but in silver, the shoe's presence gets cranked all the way up.
