Park Bo-gum Wears Nuptse: The North Face Pop-up at Taipei 101

The North Face brings Nuptse down jackets to Taipei 101, where Park Bo-gum attended the launch and demonstrated the reversible design. Running October 17–27, 2026, the pop-up combines a customized truck, archive jackets and new pieces. The two surfaces of Pertex Nuptse offer different colors and finishes; fit, layering and the weather remain important when choosing how to wear it.

Key Facts

  • The pop-up period is from October 17 to 27, 2026, and the location is Taipei 101 B1 related display and store space.
  • Pertex Nuptse's double-sided design offers different color, gloss and wear options.
  • The scene includes artist-modified trucks and archive jackets from 1992, 2011, 2019, and 2020.

Reversible Finishes and Layering

The two sides of Pertex Nuptse put brighter colors, gloss and a relatively low-key matte expression into the same coat. For commuting and traveling, the value of the double-sided design lies in adjusting the appearance; the thickness of the inner layer, the amount of activity and the weather of the day will still affect the wearing feeling. You cannot judge whether it is warm enough based on the photo alone.

When trying it on, you can first put on your usual knitted or tops, raise your hands to confirm the shoulder and back space, and then look at the length and waistline of the short version. The DWR treatment of the fabric is a water-repellent design and is not equivalent to a complete waterproof jacket. In the event of continuous rainfall, you still need to arrange appropriate protection according to the clothing label and environment.

A Customized Truck and Archive Jackets

Taiwanese artists 李冠臻NICE MELODY ST. and 陳楷恩 participated in transforming American school bus-style trucks, using black gloss and yellow lines to create a striking visual. The car body provides a larger viewing scale than ordinary clothing displays, and also provides a concrete intersection between outdoor clothing and street art.

The archive area presents Nuptse jackets from different periods since 1992, together with the 2011, 2019, and 2020 versions, making it easy to compare silhouettes, colors, and material expressions. When viewing, you can pay attention to the changes in chest and shoulder splicing, puffy partitions and lengths, rather than treating all generations as the same version.

Dates, Appearance Records and Gift Conditions

Park Bo-gum has attended this event, so the photos taken on that day cannot be interpreted as meaning that you can meet him throughout the exhibition period. If you want to see the car body and archive display, you should refer to the opening area and time announced by Taipei 101 on-site; for the size, color and inventory of the product, you need to check with the store separately.

The brand simultaneously arranges bear-shaped shopping bag activities for members to purchase designated Nuptse products, involving designated channels and qualifications, and the number of gifts is limited. If you are going for gifts, first confirm the membership conditions, applicable items and whether they are in stock. This can avoid discrepancies better than just looking at social photos; actual discounts are subject to on-site rules.

Questions and Answers

When does the Taipei 101 Nuptse pop-up end?

This arrangement is from October 17th to 27th, 2026. The relevant exhibitions are located in Taipei 101 B1 and store space; the opening hours are subject to on-site announcements.

Can Pertex Nuptse be used as a waterproof jacket?

The DWR of the fabric is a water-repellent treatment and should not be directly regarded as a complete waterproof guarantee under continuous rain. It still needs to be used according to the product label.

Can you see Park Bo-gum or get a bear-shaped shopping bag when you go to the venue?

Park Bo-gum attended an event that has already been held; the shopping bag also has membership, designated products and quantity restrictions, neither of which guarantees the entire exhibition period.
