A concept car sits at the end of the runway — but this isn't a motor show, it's Onitsuka Tiger's 2027 spring/summer presentation at Milan Fashion Week. As the brand sent suits, bow-tie blouses, and Muay Thai shorts down the runway, it also gave the world its first look at a concept car called the Onitsuka Tiger Honda Mid Sports Concept, folding both reveals into a single show.

This season's theme is "ENERGY STATION," built around setting refined tailoring alongside sporty styling. Suits come in earthy tones with bow-tie details on the shirts, leaning formal; on the other side, there are leather skirts inspired by 1960s motorcycle style, oversized workwear jackets, and pants cut with a Muay Thai shorts silhouette, with grunge elements woven in to add friction to the overall tone. Formalwear against athletic wear, motorcycle leather against fight shorts — it's a pairing this season leaves open for the audience to interpret.

This season also marks the debut of the brand-new Onitsuka Tiger Stripes logo, unveiled within the same show rather than at a separate press event — effectively letting the updated Stripes make its entrance alongside the full collection.

The Mid Sports Concept car, developed with Honda

Another highlight of the show was the collaboration between Onitsuka Tiger and Honda, with the two sides jointly creating the Onitsuka Tiger Honda Mid Sports Concept and choosing this fashion week to officially reveal it. For now, the press materials only confirm the partnership and the concept car's name — no details on specs, potential production, or commercialization plans have been shared.

The guest list that night was stacked too: MOMO, Yamashita Tomohisa, Kim Jae-won, Baifern, Yang Zi, and Wang Jing all took their seats in the audience — celebrities spanning the Korean, Japanese, Thai, and Chinese markets showing up together, which in a way reflects how the brand is treating this show as a cross-regional moment.
