A stranger having a breakdown on the Philadelphia subway drags Jack Reacher into a murder case connected to a lost flash drive — that's how Season 4 of 'Reacher' kicks off, marking the fourth return of Prime Video's action series based on Lee Child's novels. Developed by Nick Santora and starring Alan Ritchson as former Army MP Jack Reacher, this season is based on Child's 2009 novel 'Gone Tomorrow.'
The first three episodes dropped all at once on August 12, with Episode 4 following on Wednesday, August 19. The remaining four episodes will roll out weekly, with the finale expected to air September 16. The original score is once again handled by Tony Morales, who's been on board since Season 1 — but what makes this season's tracklist truly interesting is the era-spanning song choices: on one side, deep cuts of old-school blues and R&B from acts like Hop Wilson and The Chickens and Wynonie Harris; on the other, classic rock anthems from The Doors and Pixies that nearly everyone can hum along to. The two sounds trade off throughout the series, creating a suspenseful atmosphere caught between vintage and contemporary.
The currently released tracklist is as follows:
Episode 1
Hop Wilson and The Chickens – 'Chicken Stuff'
Wynonie Harris – 'Shake That Thing'
Old 97's – 'Stoned'
John Lee Hooker – 'Boom Boom'
