1,560 HP, Only Five Units Worldwide: Rezvani's Beast X May Be Hiding a Corvette Heart

California tuner Rezvani Motors teases its new Beast X, packing a 6.2-liter V8 pushing out 1,560 horsepower — though rumor has it the hybrid AWD system borrows straight from the Corvette E-Ray. Full reveal drops August 10.

1,560 HP, Only Five Units Worldwide: Rezvani's Beast X May Be Hiding a Corvette Heart

A car billed as the "ultimate American hypercar" might be running on power borrowed from a mass-production Corvette. That's the most intriguing part of the Rezvani Beast X — the California tuner has only dropped a teaser and some specs so far, with the full reveal set for August 10th. But the numbers alone are enough to raise eyebrows: a custom 6.2-liter V8 with forged internals, cranking out 1,560 horsepower.

The Beast X builds on the second-generation Beast launched earlier this year. The standard Beast puts out 1,000 horsepower; the X adds another 560 on top of that, paired with a full-time all-wheel-drive system that splits torque across all four corners. The claimed 0-100 km/h time translates to roughly 2.5 seconds 0-60 mph. Some in the industry suspect that AWD system and those absurd numbers are actually leaning on the hybrid architecture from the Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray — if true, that means this machine marketed as "made entirely in America" might have a Chevy heartbeat under the hood. It's the kind of contradiction that won't make it into the press release, but it's a fun one nonetheless.

On the outside, the Beast X sticks with the carbon-fiber lightweight body from the standard car. Teaser images show a vented hood, sharp front-bumper canards, a wider front lip, and a prominent roof-mounted air intake — all more aggressive than the 1,000-hp base Beast, signaling that the aero on this thing is built for the track, not just for show.

Rezvani is also playing up exclusivity: only five units of the Beast X will ever be made. Reservations are open now with a refundable $1,500 deposit, letting buyers stake a claim before deciding whether to commit once the full car is revealed. Pricing, delivery timing, and the rest of the specs will all come into focus at the official launch on August 10th.
