Shinsaibashi PARCO’s sixth anniversary starts November 13 with COSMICLAB, art and a morning run
Merge brings together exhibitions and shopping events. Main anniversary activities run November 13–24, with selected exhibitions through November 29. Morning Run registration opens at noon on November 3, Japan time.
Shinsaibashi PARCO’s sixth anniversary takes ‘Merge’ as its theme, bringing sound, images, street design and shopping projects into the building from November 13 to 24. Some exhibitions continue through November 29, so the main 12-day anniversary period should not be treated as the closing date for every project.
Two key exhibition spaces sit on the 14th and ninth floors: COSMICLAB combines a circular LED installation with multichannel sound, while GUCCIMAZE and Tomoya Nakagawa enlarge ideas associated with nail art into objects. The November 22 morning run requires advance registration, and shopping gifts and rewards have separate conditions.

COSMICLAB’s ‘AVVA by C.O.L.O’ runs November 13–29 at PARCO HALL on the 14th floor, with free admission. Around 20 metres of circular LED and 18 ADAM Audio speakers form a 16.2-channel environment incorporating imagery, light and fog. These are announced installation details; promotional visuals are not this publication’s on-site documentation.
During the same dates, the ninth-floor EVENT SPACE hosts ‘EXLIPSE’, a collaboration between graphic artist GUCCIMAZE and nail artist Tomoya Nakagawa that expands fingertip-scale design into large sculptural objects. Both can be combined in one visit, but individual opening hours and arrangements should be checked separately.
Opening-night events, music and a run follow different schedules
The November 13 opening party runs 17:00–20:00 across B1 and floors one to four. BLACK MARKET takes place on B2 from 17:00 on November 21; neither is an event repeated every day of the anniversary. OSAKA STREET STYLE appears on wall spaces on floors one, two, three and 14 until January 17, 2027.
Morning Run, organised with Goldwin, Droptokyo and PARCO, is scheduled for 08:00 on November 22. Free advance registration opens at 12:00 on November 3, subject to capacity and the official rules. Participants should follow registration and meeting-point instructions rather than simply arrive on the day. Times given here are local Japanese time.
Anniversary goods and shopping rewards have conditions
Hirofumi Ochiai, the FACETASM designer also associated with Convenience Wear, participates in anniversary merchandise including T-shirts and socks. A candy-shaped key charm made with VOU/棒 is offered during November 13–24 under a ¥10,000 tax-inclusive shopping condition and a designated POCKET PARCO coupon, subject to the stated rules and available quantities.

A separate cashless-payment reward runs November 13–19 at eligible shops: qualifying spending in ¥10,000 increments earns ¥1,000 in in-store shopping vouchers, limited to the first 500 customers and qualifying spending of up to ¥50,000, with the required coupon. This is not an unconditional 10% cash refund. Receipt-combination restrictions also mean gifts and rewards should not be added together as guaranteed cumulative benefits.

When can I register for the morning run?
Free advance registration opens November 3 at 12:00 for the run scheduled November 22 at 08:00, subject to capacity and official conditions. Both are Japan time.
