StockX H1 Report: Saucony Dethrones Asics — Retro Kicks and Trading Cards Are the Real Winners

StockX just dropped its H1 2026 resale trend report, and the top spot didn't go to some hyped new drop — it went to a "dad shoe" from Saucony. From skate shoes to Pokémon cards, this report maps out a growth story nobody saw coming.

StockX H1 Report: Saucony Dethrones Asics — Retro Kicks and Trading Cards Are the Real Winners

If you'd guessed based on hype alone, the top spot on StockX's H1 2026 resale chart should've gone to some collab sneaker everyone's talking about. It didn't. It went to Saucony.

The report, titled "Big Facts: Brands Making Moves," covers January through June 2026 compared to the same period last year, and shows Saucony's sales on StockX up 239% year-over-year — the fastest growth of any brand, knocking Asics off the top spot. StockX points to two models as the driving force: the ProGrid Omni 9 and ProGrid Triumph 4. But the real turning point for Saucony's comeback actually traces back to 2022, with the designer Jae Tips collab — after that partnership, the brand, once written off as strictly "dad shoes," started building buzz in sneaker circles, and four years later, it's finally showing up in the resale numbers.

Vans Sparks a Skate Shoe Revival

Unlike a single brand blowing up, Vans' numbers look more like an entire market rebooting. In H1 2026, Vans transaction volume on StockX grew 238% year-over-year, with average resale price climbing from $102 to $180, and average premium jumping from 12% all the way to 69%. That kind of jump means buyers aren't just buying more — they're willing to pay significantly more for the same pair. StockX links this surge to Supreme's comeback and Palace's 47% growth in apparel sales, all pointing to a broader resurgence across skate culture as a whole.

As for Supreme, apparel sales grew 19% year-over-year, with average premium spiking from 11% to 41%. Of StockX's top 10 best-selling apparel items in H1 2026, six were Supreme — and five of those were classic Box Logo pieces. Old designs, not new drops, still driving the bulk of the volume.

By comparison, Jordan's growth looks pretty flat: 6% sales growth, only good enough for ninth among the fastest-growing sneaker brands. But Jordan is StockX's second-largest sneaker brand, so the base is completely different — that 6% represents tens of thousands of extra transactions, with average price also up 5%. Driving this were the Jordan 5 Retro Wolf Grey, Jordan 11 Retro Gamma Blue, and Jordan 4 Retro Black Cat — once again, it's retros carrying the volume.

Beyond Sneakers: Slides, Watches, and Trading Cards Are All Trending Up

StockX tracks sneakers and other footwear separately, and slides turned out to be a surprise standout. Nike's non-sneaker footwear transaction volume grew 138%, with average resale price rising from $101 to $185, and average premium expanding from 21% to 57% — largely driven by the Nike Mind 001.

On the accessories chart, three of the five fastest-growing brands were watch brands. Timex topped the list with 260% growth, fueled by its long-running partnership with Maison Margiela MM6 and a collab with street brand Noah. Swatch came in second at 128% growth, driven by the May-launched Swatch x Audemars Piguet collection, which saw average price jump from $324 to $825. Casio rounded out fifth place with 60% growth.

Trading cards are heating up too. Pokémon card average resale prices rose 34%, with premium climbing from 91% to 158%; Disney LORCANA prices surged 444%; BOWMAN prices rose 77%, with sales volume also up 170%. Among the top 10 best-selling trading card brands, eight saw both average price and average premium rise simultaneously, with several also posting sales volume growth.
