Gundam’s off-duty wardrobe: STRICT-G RUNWAY debuts with an Asakusa pop-up on October 31
STRICT-G RUNWAY starts its 2026 autumn/winter collection with four Gundam SEED FREEDOM characters. Two HiKESHi SPiRiT shops carry different ranges, with selected outerwear arriving November 14.
What would Gundam characters wear away from the cockpit? STRICT-G RUNWAY begins with complete off-duty outfits. Its first collection, autumn/winter 2026, depicts Kira Yamato, Athrun Zala, Lacus Clyne and Cagalli Yula Athha from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM in newly drawn official illustrations wearing the range. Tops, denim, shoes and bags build a wardrobe beyond one mobile-suit graphic T-shirt.
Sales start October 31 at STRICT-G shops and the HiKESHi SPiRiT pop-up, while selected outerwear follows November 14. Online preorders begin October 30 at 1pm Japan time. Store launch, order date and shipping month are separate: online RUNWAY orders are scheduled for November shipment, whereas STRICT-G JAPAN × HiKESHi SPiRiT orders are scheduled for December. Do not treat the whole range as immediate stock on one date.
From Kira’s white T-shirt to Lacus’s shoulder bag
Kira’s T-shirt costs JPY5,500 including tax in S–XXL, concentrating a green graphic, name and C.E.75 text on its white chest. Athrun’s SPINGLE leather sneakers cost JPY27,500 in 25.5–29.5cm at 1cm intervals. Dark grey uppers meet burgundy side panels, with his name and emblem on the side. Character cues enter everyday silhouettes rather than directly reproducing uniforms.
Lacus’s shoulder bag costs JPY5,500 and measures approximately H30 × W47 × D14cm, pairing an ivory body with pink name lettering. Cagalli’s JPY4,400 scarf is approximately 180cm long including fringe and 20cm high. EDWIN E404 denim comes in Kira and Athrun versions at JPY16,500 each. All are Japanese tax-inclusive prices, without verified Taiwanese shipping, buying-service or import charges included.

Outerwear follows November 14; the two shops differ
The later release includes nishikawa recycled-down outerwear: Kira’s hooded parka is JPY39,600 and Lacus’s jacket JPY38,500, both S–XXL and scheduled for November 14. Athrun’s boa jacket and Cagalli’s reversible fleece/nylon jacket are JPY19,800 each. Seeing a complete illustrated outfit on opening day does not mean every pictured piece is already on sale.

The HiKESHi SPiRiT pop-up runs October 31–November 30 at two Asakusa locations. Shop No.1, 1-2-12 Asakusa, focuses on original Mobile Suit Gundam STRICT-G JAPAN and HiKESHi collaborations. Otogumi, 1-2-9, focuses on SEED FREEDOM RUNWAY, collaborations and cafeteria goods. Separate collaboration pieces include a JPY51,700 samue top and JPY7,150 Gundam T-shirt; these are not the same product list as RUNWAY.

Entry lottery, shopping gifts and the café
Otogumi uses advance lottery entry tickets through the official LINE account for specified dates and times. Applications run October 26, 10am–October 28, 11:59pm; results follow October 29 from noon, all Japan time. A timed entry ticket does not guarantee the desired item. The complete applicable time slots were not verified within this article; read the actual lottery page rather than assuming a lottery applies every day for a month.
Eligible RUNWAY purchases receive one newly illustrated card per item, including the online and physical channels. A separate illustrated paper tag applies only at STRICT-G shops and the pop-up, excludes Premium Bandai and cannot be chosen by design. A collaboration café is planned at Otogumi, but its menu, hours and usage conditions are to be announced. No dishes or minimum spend are invented here.
