Red eyes, a bow and a stack of books bring Black Bear’s reading imagery to Samansa Mos2 Lagom’s autumn/winter childrenswear. The collaboration offers two sweatshirt designs: a bear-face boa appliqué and a book-stack print. Each has two colours, sizes80–130cm and a Japanese tax-inclusive price of JPY2,970.
These products already went on sale in Japan on October16. The brand’s October26 introduction does not make today their first sale date. Stockists include participating Samansa Mos2 Lagom shops, CAN ONLINE SHOP and ZOZOTOWN; outlet shops are excluded from the physical-store offering. Check a particular shop for the desired colour and size.
Black Bear and Miffy share a designer
Black Bear was designed by Dick Bruna, also known for Miffy, and originally appeared on promotional posters for the paperback series he worked on. Its red eyes are explained in the character story by reading late at night. That is an illustration narrative, not advice about children’s reading habits or health. The subject here is Black Bear, not a Miffy-print collaboration.
The photographs show a black outline, red-orange eyes and a bow, concentrating recognition in simple features. Both designs place the artwork on the front rather than reducing it to a tiny logo; its visibility under outerwear depends on how the jacket is opened. Lagom is a childrenswear line derived from Samansa Mos2. Compare the character preference alongside colours already in a child’s wardrobe.
Bear-face texture or printed book spines
The boa-appliqué design comes in oatmeal and navy. Actual photographs show a navy body with grey-green and beige sleeves, and an oatmeal body with brown and navy sleeves. The fluffy face contrasts with the flatter bow. Compare the large face and colour-block sleeves together rather than assuming the whole garment is one colour from its listed main colour.

The printed version comes in camel and green, with alternating red-orange and blue book spines above the bear’s face. Lettering on the books forms part of the print. Although both designs share the price and80–130cm range, their artwork positions and surface effects differ. No verified fabric percentages or thickness are listed here: a boa appliqué does not mean the entire sweatshirt is made of insulating fleece.

Sizing, price and checks before ordering
The80–130cm range is the brand’s size designation, not a fixed-age guarantee. Check actual garment length, chest width and sleeve length against clothing that fits. A full measurement chart was not verified within this article, so the model photograph does not predict the fit on every child, and a loose appearance is not advice to buy two sizes larger.
JPY2,970 is the Japanese tax-inclusive price of each design, not a confirmed total delivered to Taiwan with shipping and buying-service fees. Cleaning conditions for the appliqué and print should follow the actual care label; no tumble-drying permission or washing temperature is invented. For a gift, confirm the recipient’s size, shipping eligibility and return conditions before choosing a bear-face or book design.
