Tokyo Christmas Market comes to Shin-Toyosu: dates, tickets and a blue mug
The waterfront event runs November 20 to December 25 with a 14-meter Christmas pyramid. Check first-day hours, date-based ticket prices and mug entitlements.
The Tokyo Christmas Market 2026 will be held for the first time at the Shin-Toyosu waterfront, from November 20 to December 25. With a Christmas pyramid about 14 meters high, wooden stalls and waterside night views, it forms a festive scene that is different from the city center park. If you plan to go to Tokyo in winter, you can first decide whether to include it in your itinerary based on the accommodation location and night transportation.
This time, the Shin-Toyosu limited edition cup is presented in dark blue ultramarine, which corresponds to the red cup at Shiba Koen Park. The cup is an admission bonus concept for designated pre-sale adult tickets. It does not mean that all ticket types and all on-site purchases will automatically come with a cup. When you want to collect it, you should first read the contents of the selected ticket clearly.

A seaside pyramid and wooden stalls, by day and by night
The approximately 14-meter Christmas pyramid takes design cues from European fairy tales, and creates a scene together with wooden cabin stalls decorated with Santa Claus, snowmen, and reindeer. During the day, you can clearly see the waterfront and the overall structure, while at night, the light changes the outline of the space. There are different viewing focuses at both times.
The pictures included in this article include event promotion hints and past reference footage, and are not on-site reports of the opening of the 2026 Shin-Toyosu venue. If you mainly want to shoot night scenes, remember to check the sunset time, weather and actual opening rules first, and do not regard the crowds or lights in the promotional pictures as fixed conditions every day.
How to choose German meals, mulled wine and limited cups
The planned items include German sausages, bread bowl stews, Christmas desserts and mulled wine of different colors, as well as shaped chimney bread and European-style snacks. If you want to bring your kids along, you can also check the non-alcoholic drinks and suitable portion sizes first, instead of just chasing the signature combinations in the photos.
The ultramarine cup corresponds to the night sky and waterfront image of Shin-Toyosu, and there is another red cup in Shiba Park. The patterns of the two cups can form a design that echoes each other. If you want to go to both, you should check the tickets and admission rights separately; alcoholic drinks such as mulled wine are only suitable for those who meet local age regulations, and you are not allowed to drive after drinking.
