Baltimore's Turnstile Brings Free Concert to Washington Monument in Support of Global Relief Efforts

A free show, set beside the Washington Monument, scheduled for 3pm on October 24 — Turnstile is capping off their North American tour with a gig that won't sell a single ticket.

The Baltimore hardcore band announced the news today (October 8) via their social channels, confirming the show will be free and open to all attendees. Presented in partnership with humanitarian organization Human Concern International, Turnstile is encouraging fans to donate on-site, with proceeds to be "split evenly to support humanitarian relief efforts in Palestine, Sudan and Lebanon."

Hassan Wadi, Global Director of Human Concern International, said: "As a Gazan, I cannot put into words how proud I am of the Turnstile team and their fan community for stepping up in support of the people of Gaza, Lebanon and Sudan — three places that have endured so much suffering. With everyone's support, we hope to provide food, water, medical care and shelter to families in need across all three regions. Thank you all for your support — we're honored to collect and deliver these donations."

The show will also mark the final stop of Turnstile's North American tour in support of their 2025 album *Never Enough*, which kicked off this past June. During the tour, frontman Brendan Yates paused a show in Oklahoma City mid-set to demand the removal of a security guard allegedly caught "swinging" at fans.

Before announcing the show, Turnstile spoke with NME on the red carpet at the 2026 BRIT Awards about the importance of musicians using their platform to speak out. The band said: "It's really important. I think artists are kind of a mirror in a way, reflecting what's happening in the world. Especially right now in America, there's so much dehumanization going on, and such a need for empathy and awareness. We're a band, and we try our best to reflect that, to give people a chance to speak up, and to shine a light on these issues."

The band has had a packed stretch of activity lately: confirmed to play Primavera Sound 2027, and appearing as musical guests on *Saturday Night Live* alongside Taylor Swift. Before that, they also took the stage at Austin City Limits in Texas. The title track from *Never Enough* won the Grammy for Best Rock Album, while the track "Birds" took home Best Metal Performance. This past August, the band released a remix edition of the album, *Never Enough: Versions*, featuring collaborations with artists including Elton John, Hayley Williams, Blood Orange, A.G. Cook, Julien Baker, Four Tet and Slayyyter.
