The Rolex Drake Got as a Gift, Engraved on the Back: "Freeze the World"

Rolex crafted a one-of-a-kind Oyster Perpetual Cosmograph Daytona "Ice Gradient" as a gift for Drake, marking his 15th career Billboard No. 1 with the album *ICEMAN*.

The case is set with a gradient of white and blue diamonds, and flipped over, the back reveals a line of blue engraving reading "Freeze the World." This isn't a watch anyone can just go buy—Rolex made it a true one-of-one, created specifically to give to Drake.

The watch is called the Oyster Perpetual Cosmograph Daytona "Ice Gradient," an off-catalog custom piece from Rolex made to commemorate a milestone the Toronto rapper hit in 2026: his album *ICEMAN* landed him his 15th career Billboard No. 1. The dial is set with extra diamond detailing, while the bezel features an interwoven gradient of white and blue diamonds echoing the "Ice" theme.

Drake himself revealed the watch on Instagram, calling it the "One of One Piece Unique Ice Gradient Daytona" and emphasizing that it was an exclusive custom piece gifted directly by Rolex. He also made a point of reminding fans and collectors that this is a singular design impossible to replicate through any third-party jeweler.

Compared to the usual market chatter around collection watches, this piece feels more like a personal trophy—the materials, engraving, and diamond setting were all built around one specific musical milestone, with no intention of ever hitting a store or auction block. Rolex hasn't released any purchase info, because this watch was never meant to be sold in the first place.
