SNIDEL BEAUTY × Steiff launches October 30 in Japan: release waves, pouch rules and the Osaka queue

Separate the October 30 and November 27 Japan releases, compare the palettes and understand the paid pouch offer and Abeno Harukas queue. Taiwan availability is unconfirmed.

SNIDEL BEAUTY × Steiff launches October 30 in Japan: release waves, pouch rules and the Osaka queue

Before the teddy-bear packaging wins you over, decide whether you want makeup, a keyring or a pouch that requires a qualifying purchase. SNIDEL BEAUTY and Steiff are releasing their 2026 Holiday Collection in two Japanese waves. For readers planning a trip, dates, store rules and spending thresholds deserve a place beside the campaign picture. This is an official-information guide, not an unboxing or swatch test.

Two release dates, not one complete drop

Japan’s first wave launches on October 30, 2026, following reservations from October 16. It includes Eye Designer n palettes, Skin Glow Blush n, a brush kit and the Lotte teddy-bear keyring. Reservations for wave two begin November 13, ahead of its November 27 launch: lip kits, hand-and-nail cream kits, a candle and bath salts. The brand specifies 10:00 Japan time for official online reservations and releases, or 09:00 in Taiwan; physical shops follow their own arrangements. These are Japanese dates, not a Taiwan launch announcement or proof of remaining reservation or launch stock.

Choose a palette for your routine before completing a set

Eye Designer n costs ¥6,600 including Japanese tax per palette. The brand describes EX07 Quiet Hug as blue-leaning mauve pink and EX08 Warm Blanket as coral beige. Those are brand colour descriptions, not our on-eye findings. If you already own a similar pink-brown palette, check the overlap in shades you actually use and decide how much the packaging matters to you. If you want a different look, start with the shade you would spread across the lid rather than the most sparkling pan. Blush is ¥3,520, the brush kit ¥6,600 and the Lotte keyring ¥6,050. These are separate products; a group photograph does not describe a single set.

The pouch is a paid add-on, not a free gift

The official collection page checked on October 26 prices the limited Steiff pouch at ¥1,100 including tax. During official online preorders, Holiday Collection merchandise itself must reach ¥8,800 including tax before the pouch can be added in the cart. Do not count the pouch toward that threshold or describe eligibility as a free gift. One ¥6,600 palette plus one ¥3,520 blush totals ¥10,120; adding the pouch, if available, gives ¥11,220. This is an illustrative calculation from announced prices, excluding delivery and other charges, with no stock promise. Buying an unwanted shade merely to qualify is a good reason to reconsider the combination.

Visiting Osaka on October 30? Read this store’s rules

Abeno Harukas Kintetsu Main Store says numbered tickets will be distributed from 09:30 on October 30 at the designated sign in the second-floor Welcome Galleria. Distribution ends when the allocation runs out, and tickets will not be reissued. The beauty counter is on Tower Building 2F. This store describes pouch eligibility as a tax-inclusive purchase of at least ¥8,800 including a holiday item, limited to one pouch per person. That wording differs from the online preorder requirement for holiday merchandise alone to meet the threshold; do not mix the two. A numbered ticket does not guarantee every shade. Recheck the store notice and on-site arrangements before travelling. The queue instructions apply to this location, not every Japanese store.

Separate what you like from what you can obtain

This guide verifies Japanese official information, not a Taiwan launch date, Taiwan pricing or eligibility for overseas delivery. Product pictures help identify packaging and items; they do not establish wear time, payoff, feel or suitability for a particular skin type. Start with one product you genuinely want to use, then confirm its Japanese date, your chosen store and total budget. That is more useful than completing a collection simply for its name.

FAQ

Is the whole collection available on October 30?

No. Lip kits, hand cream, candle and bath salts belong to the November 27 Japan wave. Store and shade stock require separate checks.

Is the Steiff pouch a free gift?

No. It is a limited, qualifying paid add-on listed at ¥1,100 including tax. Check online preorder and store-specific thresholds separately.

Does Taiwan launch on October 30 too?

Only the Japanese date is verified. Taiwan timing, pricing and delivery eligibility cannot be inferred.
