FRAY I.D meets three Sanrio characters in ruffled knitwear, Kitty dresses and bow bags

FRAY I.D brings ruffles, dots and bows into the wardrobes of Hello Kitty, My Melody and My Sweet Piano. The sanrio house collaboration launches October 29 at designated sanrio house stores and its official online shop. From button-up knitwear to sculptural bow bags, characters appear in pockets, embroidery and charms rather than occupying every available surface.

The collection covers seven product categories, and not every item comes in all three characters. Japanese tax-inclusive prices range from ¥4,290 for a Hello Kitty hair claw to ¥23,100 for a dot-print lace-combination dress. The sales channel is sanrio house: ordinary FRAY I.D stores and its own online shop should not automatically be assumed to carry this release.

The ruffle-combination cardigan costs ¥19,800 and has versions for the three characters. Pocket embroidery pairs an F with a small character apparently peeking out. It can be buttoned as a top or worn open as a layer. Dots, pale blue and checks give the photographed designs different expressions without covering the whole garment in characters.

The Hello Kitty dot-print lace-combination dress costs ¥23,100 in white or black. Lace introduces layers at the waist and skirt, and an inner camisole is included. The brand describes a satin fabric appearance, but a fibre composition is not established here. An included inner layer should not be interpreted as a guarantee of complete opacity in every light; measurements and fit still need checking.

Two bag approaches: heart quilting or a three-dimensional bow

The quilted tote costs ¥12,100, with three character versions combining raised embroidery and heart-shaped quilting. Dots and gingham keep the palette largely monochrome. A D-ring holds a charm, and the rear pocket can pass over a suitcase handle. These are structural details, not confirmation that a particular laptop fits or that the sleeve works with every suitcase.

The Ruelle big-bow bag costs ¥16,500, again with three character versions. A prominent bow forms its central volume, and an embroidered character charm is included. Another character detail appears inside the pocket. The removable shoulder strap permits hand carrying or shoulder wear. One bag emphasises the tote silhouette and surface texture; the other makes the bow itself the dominant shape.

Accessories and opening times, with a Nagoya reservation warning

The Hello Kitty furry-textured bucket hat costs ¥6,930 in ivory or grey, with a metal plate and dual-brand embroidery inside. The ¥4,290 hair claw has different front and back designs, including Kitty holding a Ruelle bag. The ¥6,930 plush charm combines black-and-white gingham, a small ribbon and a black F heart. A furry appearance alone does not establish an animal-fur composition.

On October 29, the Shinjuku Lumine 2 store opens at 11am Japan time, LUCUA Osaka at 10:30am and the new Nagoya PARCO store at 10am. Online sales start at noon Japan time, or 11am in Taiwan. Shinjuku and Osaka have entry guidance for congestion. Nagoya entry reservations for October 29–November 3 are already full; arrangements from November 4 require checking official announcements. Neither entry nor any particular stock can be assumed.

Questions and answers

Where is the collaboration sold?

At designated sanrio house physical stores and its official online shop, rather than all FRAY I.D stores or FRAY I.D’s own online store.

Do all seven categories feature all three characters?

No. The cardigan, quilted tote and Ruelle bow bag have three-character versions. The dress, bucket hat, hair claw and plush charm centre on Hello Kitty.

Can I walk into Nagoya PARCO on October 29?

Entry reservations for October 29–November 3 are full. Do not assume walk-in access; check subsequent sanrio house announcements. Reservations do not guarantee every item remains available.
