PODE adds tonal embroidery to everyday clothing, with Tokyo and Kobe launch events
Kobe-based Olinks introduces PODE in November, using cord and fabric-strip embroidery for dimension. Free, reservation-free launch events run November 25–27 in Tokyo and December 1–2 in Kobe.
Familiar shirts and jackets reveal dimensional flowers and irregular strips on closer inspection. Kobe-based Olinks plans to launch PODE in November, using embroidery and other secondary treatments to change the surface of basic silhouettes. The idea allows details to emerge without depending entirely on strong colour contrast.
The brand’s FOCUS ON YOU launch events take place November 25–27 in Minami-Aoyama, Tokyo, and December 1–2 in Kobe, with free admission and no reservation required. Clothing, photography and fragrance form parts of the experience. The events have not happened yet: campaign photographs are not evidence of event crowds or an ÉTAT HER visit.
Secondary processing means surface design, not necessarily upcycling
PODE uses secondary processing to describe embroidery, cords and fabric-strip treatments added to base textiles or garments, creating thickness and shadow within simple shapes. The term does not itself establish recycled clothing, recycled fibres, upcycling or entirely handmade production. Those are separate claims requiring item-specific evidence.
Black shirt and grey-brown skirt with raised floral details
Tonal cord embroidery relies on raised lines and light. In one photograph, dark flowers sit on a black shirt with restrained contrast but clear edges. A grey-brown jacket instead uses black floral cords and elongated stems to give its flat front a vertical direction. These are visible design observations, not tactile or laundering tests.

Fabric strips and cord flowers reward a closer look
The blue striped shirt has raised, similarly coloured fabric strips across the chest, with linear stripes and folded decoration overlapping beneath a distinct white collar. A cream skirt places its cord-embroidered flowers more quietly against a matching ground. Surface depth that becomes apparent at close range distinguishes the images from a simple flat print.

Tokyo and Kobe schedules, and a purchase gift rather than an entry giveaway
The Tokyo event takes place at KADO MINAMI AOYAMA November 25–27, from 11am to 8pm, closing at 4pm on the final day. Kobe’s ROHKE event runs December 1–2 from 11am to 6pm. All are local Japanese times. A professional photographer is scheduled to take snaps of visitors wearing PODE, with photographs delivered later by email; the on-site process remains subject to the event guidance.
ánok roll-on oil bottle on a wooden surface
A limited ánok special-order roll-on oil is offered as a gift to purchasers, with three combinations of words and scent: Dare, Enjoy and Own it. It lasts only while supplies remain. This is not a guaranteed gift for everyone entering, and no treatment, sleep or emotional-health benefit is established here. Free admission should not be stretched into a claim that every experience or product is free.
