Plan a strawberry lunch in Hiroshima: Grand Prince Hotel and Mlesna Tea announce a January 2027 buffet

Set aside a meal for strawberries and the people travelling with you. Grand Prince Hotel Hiroshima will serve its Fragrant Symphony strawberry lunch buffet at the 23rd-floor Top of Hiroshima from January 9 to May 31, 2027, combining Mlesna Tea, desserts and hot dishes. This is a plan for next winter and spring, rather than a buffet already being served. Travellers can compare dates, menus and booking options before choosing a visit.

Strawberry reds and tea tones run through mousses, jellies and freshly fried sweets, alongside savoury lunch dishes. About one third of the menu changes on March 13, so the selection in January will differ from that in April. Choosing a travel date and then checking its menu period is more useful than assuming the full promotional spread will be available together.

A floral tea mousse and freshly made strawberry beignets

The first menu period runs from January 9 to March 12. One highlight is Berry Blossom tea mousse: a beige round mousse bordered with pink cream, strawberries, blueberries and edible flowers in a wreath-like arrangement. A strawberry-and-tea terrine also appears. Photographs establish the colours and decoration, but do not establish how sweet the finished dessert tastes or how intense its tea aroma will be.

Freshly made strawberry beignets are planned throughout the event. Strawberries are enclosed in batter and fried, with tea salt or cocoa salt offered alongside. Other choices include strawberry shortcake, strawberry chocolate millefeuille, strawberry Earl Grey jelly and fresh strawberries. Pairing teas include names rendered as Hime Ichigo and Bitter Espresso; those names alone do not establish complete ingredients or caffeine levels.

The menu changes on March 13, with savoury lunch dishes too

The second period, March 13 to May 31, adds tea choux with strawberry-flavoured cream cheese and a classic strawberry-and-tea cake. Pink filling peeks between the choux shells, offering a different presentation from the first period’s floral mousse. Check the serving period if a particular dessert matters to you. A promotional table photograph may bring together dishes from different periods, rather than promising every item on every date.

Savoury options include freshly cooked beef teppanyaki and berry potato salad. Jasmine-scented vegetable pilaf features in the first period, while tea-braised pork with mole sauce appears in the second. The high-floor venue looks towards the Seto Inland Sea. Confirm seating, window arrangements and the day’s selection with the restaurant; the setting does not mean every table is guaranteed the same sea view.

Separate regular prices, student eligibility and January booking offers

Regular adult prices are JPY 5,000 on weekdays and JPY 5,500 on weekends and holidays. Children aged 7–12 pay JPY 2,000, and those aged 4–6 pay JPY 1,500. These listed prices include the service charge. The JPY 4,500 student rate covers junior-high, high-school, vocational-school and university students, but applies only on weekdays and March 27–28, 2027. March 23 to April 2 follows weekend-and-holiday hours and pricing, so a weekday date on the calendar is not enough to determine the price.

Weekday service runs from noon to 2:30 p.m., with last orders at 2 p.m. Weekends and holidays have two sittings of 90 minutes: the first starts at 11:30 a.m. or noon, and the second at 1:30 p.m. January 2027 visits have advance online-booking offers. Reservations made by November 30, 2026 are JPY 4,000 on weekdays or JPY 4,500 on weekends and holidays; December bookings are JPY 4,500 and JPY 4,900 respectively. Confirm availability and conditions rather than treating these as season-long prices.
