ICOCA’s Ico-chan relaxes into autumn with a metre-long plush and 14 items
JR West Trading plans an October 29 release of Ico-chan plush toys, knitted bags and stationery. The 14-item count includes design variants and is not one bundle; the original announcement was October 26.
The familiar character from a commute can now take up a different position at home: lying across a sofa. JR West Trading’s autumn collection for the ICOCA platypus, Kamonohashi no Ico-chan, is scheduled for October 29. A plush approximately one metre long leads a selection of stationery and knitted bags that connects downtime with everyday outings.
The original collection announcement was published at 2pm JST on October 26, or 1pm in Taiwan, ahead of the October 29 release. Its 14-item count includes different sticker, notebook and clear-file designs, rather than a package of 14 items sold together. Each size and purpose needs a separate look.
Two reclining plush sizes call for different spaces
The large plush is listed at 100cm long, 48cm wide and 28cm high, priced at ¥9,900 in Japan. In the sofa photograph, the horizontal pose and relaxed face suggest a different presence from an upright display toy. A metre of length also needs real space, so measuring a bed edge or sofa is more reliable than estimating from the image.

A smaller soft reclining plush measures 24.5cm long, 16cm wide and 8cm high, at ¥1,980. The related shapes do not make the small version a gift included with the large one, nor are the two prices a discount comparison for one product. A desktop display and a sofa arrangement naturally call for different dimensions.

Stationery designs explain how the range reaches fourteen
Stationery includes a puffy autumn sticker item at ¥550 and four water- and light-resistant sticker designs—biscuit, relaxing, coffee and chill—at ¥330 each. The latter claim should not be expanded into permanent colourfastness or suitability for every surface. Items exposed to repeated washing still need their product instructions checked.

B6 ring notebooks come in red and green checks at ¥550 each. Clear-file options feature teatime and chill designs; each ¥660 set contains one A4 and one A5 file. Counting those design variants separately alongside the plush and bags produces the stated 14 items. It does not mean there are another 14 versions of every notebook or file.

Drawstring and knitted bags, with selected sales locations
The character drawstring pouch measures 18cm wide and high, at ¥1,430. A knitted bag is ¥1,210, and a knitted pouch is ¥990, with the latter listed at 22cm wide and 15.5cm high. The character face becomes part of the knitted pattern, offering a different everyday use from the sculptural plush. These Japanese prices do not establish Taiwan prices.
Sales are planned through selected station shops and selected episode and iikot stores, plus TrainBox, its WESTER mall store and DISCOVER WEST mall. That does not mean every station or branch carries all 14 versions; timing and stock can differ. Product images are references, and specifications and cross-border shipping need individual checks. Character merchandise should not be mistaken for an included ICOCA transit card.
