PLST×HARUNOBUMURATA returns November20: ten womenswear styles across16 Japanese stores and online

A coat does not need elaborate decoration to hold its shape in the eye. PLST’s third collaboration with HARUNOBUMURATA draws on the independent spirit and supple strength of women in the late1990s, bringing precise silhouettes into everyday wardrobes. Ten womenswear styles span coats, jackets, dresses, knitwear and trousers, with a Japanese launch planned for November20.

The collaboration was announced on October27,2026. The collection will be sold at16 designated physical stores and the official online shop. The Japanese tax-inclusive price range is12,000–49,000yen. That is a collection-wide range, not a verified individual price for the photographed coat. Ten styles also does not establish the total number of colour, size or stock combinations.

Movement gives a restrained silhouette its expression

In the released campaign image, a model lifts her arms in a grey-blue long outer layer, opening out its collar, cuffs and hem. Closely related tones and generous empty space direct attention to the curve of fabric away from the body, rather than embellishment or a strong print. This describes what is visible in a promotional image, not a test of composition or feel across the whole collection.

The brand connects its inspiration to late-1990s women, emphasising self-directed taste and resilience. That idea can be read through generous but clearly defined lines, without suggesting every garment recreates a particular celebrity’s historical outfit. The material checked does not list every product name, fibre percentage or care instruction, so shoppers should check each product separately.

Murata already holds the creative-director role

Harunobu Murata is both PLST’s womenswear creative director and the designer of HARUNOBUMURATA. The new announcement concerns a third collaboration and its sales schedule, rather than a newly announced appointment at PLST. Separating his existing position from the new range makes this a continuation of a design relationship rather than a sudden personnel change.

Founded in2018, HARUNOBUMURATA uses Luxury of Silence as its concept, with clean cuts, materials and neutral colours at its centre. PLST places clothing within everyday encounters, working life and outings. A collaboration covering outerwear, knitwear and trousers allows different pieces to work together, but there is no verified requirement to buy all ten styles as a set. The entry price should not be assigned to every garment.
