pockepa closes crowdfunding with 967 supporters, putting phones and cash at waist level
The roughly 300g QUICK PACK pockepa uses a magnetic phone pocket and separate cash storage. Its Makuake presale ended October 23; the next sale is planned for late December or later.
Some outings require more than clothing pockets can hold, without calling for a large bag. NIG has reported the final presale figures for its lightweight, water-repellent QUICK PACK pockepa: the Makuake campaign ran August 4–October 23 and closed with 967 supporters and ¥11,546,790 against a ¥300,000 target. This is a completed crowdfunding campaign, not an open offer or a stock announcement.
The design places a phone and cash within easy reach, with waist and crossbody carrying options. NIG also released classifications of answers from prospective buyers, highlighting everyday outings, walking and shopping. These explain the brand’s proposed use cases but do not form a representative survey of the wider consumer population.
Around 300g, with separate places for a phone and cash
The lightweight, water-repellent model comes in black and white, measuring 20cm wide, 12cm high and 7cm deep at approximately 0.3kg. A magnetic “スマポッケ” phone pocket is paired with a “ハイドポッケ” for notes and coins. Separating frequently used objects gives each action its own storage area rather than one undifferentiated compartment.

Brand photographs demonstrate taking out a phone while holding a drink and retrieving a banknote beside a vending machine. These are brand demonstrations, not our hands-on tests. Water-repellent material is not complete waterproofing: the announcement gives no immersion rating, water-pressure figure or phone-protection guarantee. Buyers should check fit with their actual phone and case.

The 64% everyday-use figure has a specific denominator
A total of 161 people answered the open-ended question about the most likely use scenario. NIG classified keywords and grouped everyday outings, walking, nearby shopping and commuting at 64%, against 23% for special occasions such as travel, concerts and theme parks. Individual categories include everyday use at 39%, walking at 12%, nearby shopping at 11% and travel at 15%; multiple classification was allowed, so they are not mutually exclusive shares to add together.
Respondents were people who joined LINE through the Makuake project page. The overall survey lists 192 responses collected June 25–July 18, while 161 refers to that particular question. The denominators should not be interchanged. Nor does the figure establish that 64% of all purchasers already use the bag daily: it describes intentions and self-reported scenarios.
The presale is closed; the next sale is still ahead
The final ¥11,546,790 and 967 supporters do not mean the original terms remain available. NIG lists a planned Japanese regular retail price of ¥18,200 including tax and expects the next sale in late December or later. That is a future plan, not current stock or a Taiwan price; subsequent timing and terms require confirmation.
Delivery arrangements for existing supporters are planned to begin progressively from late November through late December, with the faster option starting in late November. A shipment schedule is not the same as each recipient’s arrival date. Anyone planning around a trip should confirm the relevant option, destination and timing rather than reading completed campaign totals as immediate product availability.
Questions and answers
Is this crowdfunding campaign still open?
The original Makuake presale ended October 23, 2026. NIG plans another sale in late December or later, and this announcement does not list current ready stock.
What are the dimensions, weight and price?
20 × 12 × 7cm, approximately 0.3kg, in black and white. Planned Japanese regular retail is ¥18,200 including tax, not a confirmed Taiwan price or currently orderable offer.
Does 64% describe actual use by all buyers?
No. It is a classification of answers from 161 prospective buyers who joined LINE and answered a particular open-ended question, not actual-use data for all 967 supporters or a representative consumer survey.
