Tite Kubo’s new character moves onto a black tee in a two-piece Hypebeast capsule
A lavender back graphic, bilingual embroidery and a curved-brim cap connect Kubo’s magazine cover project with everyday clothing. The October 26 announcement names HBX as the exclusive retailer.
Tite Kubo, creator of BLEACH, has made a new character drawing for a two-piece Hypebeast capsule linked to his cover project for Magazine Issue 38, The Juice Issue. A black cotton T-shirt and a black baseball cap carry the illustration and his name in different ways. The announcement was originally published on October 26 and said the pieces launched that day exclusively through HBX; it is yesterday’s release news rather than a first announcement on October 27.
The tee puts its largest image on the back and keeps smaller text and craft details at the chest. The cap concentrates the collaboration into lettering on the front. For a wardrobe that includes manga imagery without centring every outfit on it, the useful distinctions are image placement, silhouette and the scale of the accessory. The two pieces do not have to be worn together.
A lavender back graphic changes the view under a jacket
The T-shirt is described as 100% cotton, with a slightly oversized shape and a ribbed crewneck. Its black ground gives the lavender character drawing a clear outline: the face, coat collar and surrounding strokes build the image through contrast. A signature is visible below the drawing in the actual product photograph. Those marks belong to the garment design, rather than being an extra overlay on the photograph.
The issue title and Kubo’s name in English and Japanese appear at the chest through printing and embroidery. With an open jacket, the smaller front details can lead the look; removing it reveals the larger back image. This is a styling observation based on placement, not a fit test. A slightly oversized description cannot replace actual shoulder, chest and length measurements when choosing a size.
The six-panel cap turns the collaboration into lettering
The Graphic Ball Cap uses a black six-panel construction and curved brim. TITE KUBO and 久保帯人 are embroidered at the front, while an adjustable buckle strap is finished with a Hypebeast label. It offers a more concentrated identity than the tee’s large drawing. The announcement does not supply a head-circumference range, and an adjustment buckle does not establish identical fit for every wearer.
Both items are described as made in Korea and produced in limited quantities, without a numerical production run. That describes supply, not a guaranteed sell-out speed, future restock or resale value. In the supplied street photograph, the tee’s back remains the central image against a lit storefront at night. The picture is a styling reference, not this publication’s wear or durability test.

A magazine project, with purchase details still to check
The capsule extends Kubo’s Issue 38 cover project from a printed page into clothing. An actual inside-neck photograph shows the brand label, character drawing and rights text, connecting the inner detail with the exterior graphic. The announcement does not explain the new figure’s name or establish it as a specific existing manga character, so an additional identity or fictional backstory should not be inferred.

HBX is the named exclusive sales channel. The announcement does not list prices, a full size range, Taiwan shipping charges or returns conditions; these need to be checked on the relevant product page and at checkout. A jacket can keep the front restrained, while leaving the back clear lets the drawing lead. A backpack will cover some of that image. These are options based on graphic placement; comfort and care still depend on sizing and the garment label.
