X-girl × NANGA returns October 30 with black technical fabric and original leopard print
The B-15-inspired puffer has a collar that folds down or stands up. Black uses AURORA-TEX®; beige uses a different fabric with leopard print. Japan price: ¥39,600 including tax, sizes S and M.
A winter jacket needs a clear silhouette as well as a place in an everyday wardrobe. Following last year’s collaboration, X-girl and NANGA have announced this season’s PUFFER JACKET for release in Japan on Friday, October 30. The B-15 military jacket provides the design starting point, with a voluminous body, prominent collar and streetwear proportions connecting the two brands.
BLACK and BEIGE are more than colour alternatives. Black uses NANGA’s proprietary waterproof, breathable AURORA-TEX® fabric, while beige switches to a different material carrying an original X-girl leopard print. Fabric and pattern therefore need to be compared together; the technical description for black should not be transferred to the printed version.
A B-15 starting point and a collar that changes the silhouette
The B-15 is a design reference, not a claim that the jacket reproduces military specifications. Campaign styling pairs its roomy body with wide trousers and striped layers, putting visual volume above the waist. Worn open, the folded collar creates another layer around the inner outfit. Those are styling examples; individual fit still depends on body shape and the size chart.

The two-way collar can be folded down or raised for a different line around the neck. Two-way describes the collar positions, not a reversible jacket or a detachable second garment. A woven label combining both brands provides a clear collaboration detail, particularly on the otherwise restrained black colourway.
Black foregrounds fabric; beige foregrounds print
NANGA describes its AURORA-TEX® fabric as waterproof and breathable, giving the black version a material distinction beyond colour. The announcement does not supply this garment’s water-pressure rating, moisture-permeability figures or complete waterproof testing. A wet street in the campaign imagery is not a performance test and does not establish suitability for every rainfall intensity or prolonged exposure.

The beige jacket instead places leopard print across the body and uses a different material from black. It can serve as the main visual element of an outfit, with simpler accompanying shapes leaving space for the pattern. Both versions share the collaboration’s design direction, but should not be presented as having identical fabric or identical waterproof performance.

Japan release details and the limits of the announcement
The X-girl x NANGA PUFFER JACKET, item 105264021010, comes in S and M at ¥39,600 including Japanese tax. Listed channels are Japanese X-girl and XLARGE/X-girl stores excluding outlets, XLARGE Naha, the official calif online store and ZOZOTOWN. Buyers should confirm availability with the relevant channel.
The original announcement was published October 27; October 30 is the planned sale date. It does not specify Taiwan pricing, overseas shipping terms or precise opening times at each channel. Complete fill ratios, fill-power figures and temperature ratings are also absent. Checking size, material and purchasing region is more useful than treating a currency conversion as a local retail price.
Questions and answers
When does it release, and what does it cost?
The planned Japan release is October 30, 2026, at ¥39,600 including Japanese tax in sizes S and M. Taiwan prices and exact channel opening times are not stated.
Does the leopard-print version also use AURORA-TEX®?
The announcement specifically assigns AURORA-TEX® to black. Beige uses a different material with original leopard print, so black’s fabric claims should not be assumed to apply.
Does the two-way collar mean the jacket is reversible?
No. The collar folds down or stands up to alter the neckline. The announcement does not describe a reversible construction or a detachable second jacket.
