INNISFREE’s two hydrogel masks reach Japan’s official online stores November 1, with different transparency cues
The Retinol PDRN mask is ¥550 for 30g; Green Tea Ceramide Milk is ¥495 for 36g, tax included in Japan. Both are used for 30–60 minutes, but only the green tea version turns transparent.
INNISFREE is bringing two skincare lines into split hydrogel masks for Japan: Retinol PDRN Advanced Hydrogel Mask and Green Tea Ceramide Milk Hydrogel Mask. They are scheduled to launch exclusively through designated official online stores on November 1, 2026. The brand announced the details on October 29, rather than first revealing them on October 30. Their sizes, prices and changes in appearance during use differ.
Retinol PDRN is ¥550 for one 30g mask; Green Tea Ceramide Milk is ¥495 for one 36g mask, including Japanese tax. These are Japanese prices and distribution plans, not Taiwan pricing or a worldwide launch confirmation. Both use hydrogel to carry skincare ingredients, offering a different texture for a longer masking step alongside an everyday routine.
Retinol PDRN: micro-embossed hydrogel that does not turn transparent
The Retinol PDRN version uses micro-embossed hydrogel in two pieces designed to follow the face’s contours. The brand positions it as concentrated care for radiance and a supple appearance. Its formula description includes three retinol-related skin-conditioning ingredients and moisturizing Green Tea PDRN, identified in the release’s notes as Lactobacillus culture lysate. The product name should not be equated with a medical procedure.
After cleansing and toner, remove the protective film, fit the mask to the face and take it off after 30–60 minutes. This version does not become transparent during use, so transparency is not a requirement for removal. The Japanese announcement also lists Korea Agency of Vegan Certification and Services certification and skin-related testing. Testing does not rule out irritation for everyone, and these are not our own wear-test results.
Green Tea Ceramide Milk: moisture-focused care that turns transparent
The green tea version brings key skincare ingredients from the line’s milk essence toner into a sheetless hydrogel. Its moisturizing formulation description includes tea leaf extract, tea seed oil, ceramide NP and hyaluronic acid. The brand positions it for concentrated care when skin feels dry or lacks moisture. Formula details and positioning do not establish treatment of skin conditions or identical results for every user.
A green INNISFREE Green Tea Ceramide Milk mask sachet with white upper and lower hydrogel pieces
It also comes in upper and lower pieces and follows the same cleansing-and-toner preparation, with removal after 30–60 minutes. Unlike Retinol PDRN, this one becomes transparent during use. That distinction is an explicitly described product feature; a universal instruction to wait for transparency would be inaccurate. A matching toner bottle in a product photograph also does not mean that bottle is included in the single-mask price.
Compare official sales channels as well as grams and yen
The November 1 Japanese launch covers the brand’s online store and official stores on Qoo10, Rakuten, Amazon and ZOZOTOWN. Online exclusivity refers to those official arrangements. It does not establish availability in every physical Japanese shop, nor make every seller on a named platform an official seller. Check the product name, size and seller identity together.
The masks differ by ¥55, but the larger green tea version is the less expensive one. Weight alone does not establish skincare performance. The practical comparison is a 30g, ¥550 Retinol PDRN mask that does not turn transparent, versus a 36g, ¥495 Green Tea Ceramide Milk mask that does. The Japanese release provides no Taiwan launch date, local price or cross-border shipping terms, so the Japanese launch should not be treated as a Taiwan purchasing promise.
