NUXE Japan’s holiday sets arrive November 4: why the two ¥3,960 kits are different

Compare four NUXE Japan holiday sets launching November 4: the two ¥3,960 kits have different extras, while ¥8,690 collections add perfume and bath products.

NUXE Japan’s holiday sets arrive November 4: why the two ¥3,960 kits are different

Both cost ¥3,960 and centre on a 50mL beauty oil, but NUXE’s two Signature Kits do not have the same extras. The original version adds a 10mL bottle, while the floral version includes a pouch. The French brand’s 2026 Japanese holiday range is scheduled for a limited-quantity launch on November 4.

This comparison focuses on four combinations cross-checked against the Japanese announcement and brand page: two Signature Kits and two Special Collections. A separate mini box is also in the range, but is not included in the volume or price comparisons below.

Original Signature Kit: two sizes of the same oil

The Prodigieux Signature Kit contains Huile Prodigieuse 50mL plus a 10mL bottle of the same oil, at ¥3,960 including Japanese tax. That is 60mL divided between two containers, not a single 60mL product.

This format may make sense if you already like the original oil and want separate larger and smaller bottles. The brand describes its fragrance as floral vanilla, with notes including orange blossom, magnolia and vanilla. That description is not a firsthand scent assessment, nor a promise that everyone will perceive it identically.

The original Signature Kit pairs 50mL and 10mL oils.

Floral Signature Kit: a pouch rather than another bottle

The Prodigieux Floral Signature Kit also costs ¥3,960 including tax. Its contents are Huile Prodigieuse Florale 50mL and an original pouch. A 10mL oil is not listed. The pink packaging helps distinguish it visually, but the full contents list is more useful than the shared Signature name.

Equal prices therefore do not mean equal oil volumes. Someone prioritising a second, smaller bottle can compare the original kit; someone who already likes the floral-citrus direction and would use the pouch may prefer the floral option. A pouch is not directly interchangeable with millilitres, and a larger oil total does not determine everyone’s best choice.

The ¥8,690 Special Collections add bath and fragrance products

Each Special Collection costs ¥8,690 including Japanese tax. The original combines beauty oil 100mL, matching eau de parfum 15mL, shower oil 100mL and a pouch. The floral collection combines floral beauty oil 100mL, matching eau de parfum 15mL, shower gel 100mL and a pouch.

These are not merely Signature Kits with twice the oil. They add different product categories. Their liquid volumes must not be added together and described as beauty oil: the perfume and rinse-off bath products have separate roles and instructions.

Start with fragrance, then consider what you would use

A practical comparison begins with a familiar fragrance, followed by whether you want a smaller bottle, would use a pouch, or need both bath products and perfume. Floral vanilla and floral citrus are scent directions, not guarantees of strength, longevity or suitability for a particular skin type.

For a gift, finding out whether the recipient likes fragranced body-care products is more useful than automatically choosing a larger box. We have not tested absorption, hours of moisturisation, sensitive-skin suitability or fragrance longevity. Check the actual labels for ingredients and instructions.

Japan’s November 4 launch and the separate gift threshold

The dates and prices refer to Japan, not a confirmed simultaneous Taiwan release. From November 4 during the campaign, the Japanese official online shop and selected stores offer a winter bag with NUXE purchases of at least ¥5,500 including tax, while gift stocks last.

One ¥3,960 Signature Kit falls ¥1,540 short of that threshold. That is arithmetic, not a reason to buy extras. An ¥8,690 set also does not guarantee that a gift remains available at every retailer. The pouch inside a kit, the promotional winter bag and any separately paid wrapping are distinct items and conditions.

Frequently asked questions

Do both Signature Kits include a mini oil?

No. The original has 50mL plus 10mL; the floral version has 50mL plus a pouch.

Are the Signature Kits the same price?

Yes, both are ¥3,960 including Japanese tax.

Is all 215mL in a Special Collection beauty oil?

No. It is 100mL oil, 15mL perfume and 100mL of a bath product.

When do they launch, including in Taiwan?

Japan is scheduled for November 4, 2026. The sources do not confirm Taiwan timing.

Does a single ¥3,960 kit qualify for the winter bag?

It does not reach the announced ¥5,500 threshold; participating-channel and gift-stock conditions also apply.
